Hainsey (undisclosed) won't be available for Saturday's game against the Flyers, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hainsey is considered day-to-day, so he may only be forced to miss one contest due to his undisclosed issue. With Hainsey on the shelf, Max Lajoie will be promoted from the minors and draw into the lineup Saturday.

Hainsey produced an assist, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-2 win over the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Hainsey provided the secondary helper on a shorthanded, empty-net goal by Jean-Gabriel Pageau. While offense isn't Hainsey's primary contribution on the ice, he's snagged assists in two of his last three games. He's up to six points, 45 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in 31 outings.

Hainsey managed an assisted, four blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Hainsey had the secondary helper on a Connor Brown goal in the second period. The defenseman has just five points in 29 games this season, but he's added 43 blocked shots and 24 hits. It's unlikely he matches the 23 points he had in each of the previous two campaigns, both spent with the Maple Leafs.

Hainsey hasn't scored since Nov. 16 at Buffalo, and only has two assists in November.
EDGE Analysis
One of Hainsey's primary roles on this Senators team is to help Erik Brannstrom transition to the NHL. He's not likely to be around when Ottawa is ready to contend for a title, and he's embraced the fact that he's not a scorer on this team. Don't expect much from Hainsey in fantasy formats.

Hainsey scored a goal on two shots and was plus-2 in Monday's 6-2 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran defenseman crept in from the point and tapped home a Brady Tkachuk feed to put the Senators up 3-1 early in the second period. It was the first goal of the season for Hainsey and stood as the eventual winner, snapping a nine-game point drought in the process. The 38-year-old had five goals and 23 points in 81 games with Toronto last year but he may be hard-pressed to approach those totals with an inferior Ottawa club.

Hainsey's been a fantasy non-factor so far, with his only point coming on Oct. 10 against St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Anyone who owns Hainsey is finding out the hard way that there's a major drop-off that comes with going from the high-flying Maple Leafs to the rebuilding Senators. Hainsey should be more productive as time goes on, but another 20-point season might be beyond his reach with this Ottawa squad.

Hainsey signed a one-year, $3.5 million contract with Ottawa on Monday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
At 38, Hainsey will be one of the oldest players in the NHL in 2019-20, but he hasn't shown any signs of slowing down over the past two years, putting up back-to-back 23-point campaigns while appearing in 161 of a possible 164 regular-season contests with the Maple Leafs. The 14-year veteran will likely step into a middle-pairing role with the Senators this season and should be able to crack the 20-point threshold for a third straight campaign.

Hainsey was back at Monday's practice after he was held out of Saturday's game against the Canadiens due to rest, Paul Hendrick of the Maple Leafs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hainsey -- who was held out of the regular-season finale -- was back at it Monday alongside Morgan Rielly on the Leafs' first pairing. The 38-year-old was able to produce 23 points in 81 games this campaign. He was also a force on the defensive side, racking up 91 hits and 144 blocks.

Hainsey won't take part in Saturday's regular-season finale against the Canadiens for rest purposes, Scott Wheeler of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Don't worry, Hainsey can still claim a clean bill of health for the entire 2018-19 season, as Saturday will mark his first game missed and it comes in the form of a rest day with the playoffs around the corner. He will finish off the regular season with 23 points -- five goals and 18 assists -- through 81 games and should be back in the lineup for the first game of the playoffs.

Hainsey scored a goal in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
After a scoreless opening period, it wasn't until 12:28 of the middle frame that this one got its first goal, coming courtesy of Hainsey, who, for just the second time in his career, scored with his team down a man. The 37-year-old blueliner is enjoying a good run of late, picking up four points over his past five games. In 67 appearances, Hainsey has five goals, 20 points, and leads the league with a plus-37 rating.
