He picked up Detroit's first goal of the night, banging home a rebound from right on David Rittich's doorstep in the second period, but the Wings were already in a 2-0 hole at that point. Fabbri hasn't found his way onto the scoresheet in consecutive games since late October, however, and the former Blue's inconsistency has left him with just six goals and 12 points through 26 games.

It was Fabbri's first multi-point effort since Opening Night. The 25-year-old has four goals and six assists with a minus-7 rating across 21 games this season.

Fabbri logged an assist and three hits in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Unfortunately, Fabbri -- with three goals and four assists -- has been wildly inconsistent through 16 games this season, as he's working in tandem with Suter, a newcomer to the Original Six club, and Filip Zadina, who is still very much in development mode as the sixth overall pick from the 2018 draft.
