Rick Nash scored the Blue Jackets' lone goal in a 2-1 loss Saturday. Columbus has been held to one goal in three of their six games this month. Nikita Nikitin and Antoine Vermette assisted on Nash's goal.

Rick Nash had nine shots on goal on Tuesday. Nash is currently second in the NHL with 165 shots on goal, which puts him just two behind James Neal. Unfortunately, Nash isn't nearly as high up in the goals leaderboard, with just 14 in 42 games this season. Nash also has a minus-22 rating and given how bad the Blue Jackets have been this season, we wouldn't be surprised if he ends up dipping below his career-low of minus-35 from the 2003-04 campaign.

Rick Nash scored two goals in the Columbus Blue Jackets' 7-4 loss to the Anaheim Ducks. It's been a rough season for the Blue Jackets' most highly paid and well-known player, as he has just 14 goals and 29 points along with an ugly -20 rating in 41 games this season.

In the hypothetical scenario that the Columbus Blue Jackets wanted to trade Rick Nash, he would be open to waiving his no-trade clause. "The city of Columbus deserves a winner and deserves a good product on the ice," Nash said. "If it comes to that -- like you said, all speculation -- but if they don't want me here, they want to move me? I'm not going to do something where it's going to hurt the franchise just because I have that in my contract." Cue the trade rumors, not that they were going to be avoidable, given that the Blue Jackets are already well out of the playoff race with half a season to go.

Rick Nash potted two goals in the Columbus Blue Jackets' 4-1 win over the Dallas Stars on Thursday night. Nash hasn't lived up to his preseason billing this year as the goals were only his 12th -- and 26th point -- of the campaign. He finished the game with a plus-two rating, his first "plus" outing since the end of November. The captain is projected for his first sub-60-point campaign since 2006-07, but obviously has the talent to put up points in a hurry. Antoine Vermette (fifth) and Fedor Tyutin (third) had the team's other goals, while John Moore had two assists.

Rick Nash and Jeff Carter were on separate lines on Sunday. That's the first time that the two were both healthy, but not playing together for the bulk of the contest. Splitting them up balances the top two lines, but the experiment didn't have a good trial run considering that neither player ended up with a point. From a fantasy perspective, we'd like to see them playing together, but the Blue Jackets obviously have other considerations to take into account.

Rick Nash scored a goal in a 3-2 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday night. The goal was Nash's 10th of the season, which is too low for a player of Rick's talent. In contrast Steve Stamkos scored his 20th goal of the season, which boosted the Bolts passed the Blue Jackets.

Rick Nash scored two goals in a 5-1 win Friday night. Mark Letestu, Marc Methot, and R.J. Umberger each scored a goal for Columbus. Jeff Carter, James Wisniewski, and Ryan Johansen all assisted on two of the Blue Jackets' five goals.

Rick Nash broke a seven-game goal drought with an empty-netter at 18:28 of the Columbus Blue Jackets' 4-1 victory over the Calgary Flames Monday night. It was only the fifth goal of the season for Nash, who is typically the top offensive performer for Columbus.

Rick Nash is minus-eight in his last five games. Part of that is just a product of playing for a 3-13-1 team, but Nash is also minus-two in Columbus' three wins. Nash is minus-12 this season, which is second only to Eric Staal's minus-17 rating. Nash has surpassed the 30-goal mark in each of his last four seasons, but he has just four goals in 17 games in 2011-12. That all being said, we could see the Blue Jackets and Nash bouncing back in the second half of the season. Although, even that probably won't be enough to salvage the Blue Jackets' playoff chances.
