Nash, who was making his Bruins debut, recorded a team-high five shots on goal and a blocked shot in Sunday's 4-1 road loss to the Sabres, though he didn't get on the scoresheet through 17:27 of ice time.
EDGE Analysis
Surprisingly, Nash was able to join his new team in Buffalo after his trade was announced early Sunday morning. While he failed to convert on any scoring chances, the fact that he threw five pucks on net in his debut is quite impressive. Nash is way past his prime, but his power-play role has been carried over to Boston -- three minutes on the man advantage Sunday -- and he's now playing for a contender -- a team that's in a three-way tie with the Penguins and Islanders in goals per game (3.24) to rank fourth in the league in said category.

Nash, who was acquired from the Rangers earlier Sunday, is set to join the Bruins in Buffalo and make his team debut later in the evening.
EDGE Analysis
With the puck dropping in Buffalo at 5 p.m. EST, it wasn't expected that Nash would be able to arrive in team to join his new teammates, but the Bruins are apparently eager to integrate the forward right away. Though he may see a more limited role Sunday than he likely will in the games to follow, expect Nash to see at least some work on the second line with Jake DeBrusk and David Krejci. He'll essentially fill the spot vacated by Ryan Spooner, who was one of three players shipped back to New York in exchange for Nash.

The Bruins officially acquired Nash from the Rangers on Sunday, John Shannon of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rangers had held Nash out for both of their past two games with trade talks swirling around the veteran forward, and it appears that New York has finally found a taker for the 33-year-old, who tallied 18 goals and 10 assists in 60 games. While the details of the trade haven't been publicized, it's expected that the Bruins will send back a first-round pick and blueline prospect Ryan Lindgren, according to Bob McKenzie of TSN. Per Pierre LeBrun of TSN, the Rangers will retain 50 percent of the approximately $1.7 million Nash is still owed this season. Don't expect Nash to suit up for the Bruins in Sunday's game against the Red Wings, but he could be ready to make his team debut as soon as Wednesday in Vancouver.

According to Darren Dreger of TSN, the Bruins and the Rangers are finalizing talks to send Nash to Boston.
EDGE Analysis
It appears that there is still cap-related maneuvering to be done, but all signs point to Nash being a Bruin by Monday's trade deadline. Nash's presence in Boston would round out the Bruins' top nine, hoping to compete with the Penguins, who received Derick Brassard in a three-team, six-player trade Friday. It's unclear where Nash -- 28 points through 60 games this season -- will immediately fit in the Bruins' lineup, but the 33-year-old's veteran presence will surely be a positive come playoff time.

Nash (not injury related) will sit out a second straight game Friday against the Wild, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nash was essentially already ruled out for Friday's game against the Wild if he didn't get dealt prior to the matchup and the Rangers have yet to pull the trigger. It seems highly unlikely he would draw into Sunday's game either ahead of Monday's trade deadline, but it wouldn't be surprising if he is sent elsewhere before then.

If he isn't traded prior to puck drop, Nash won't suit up for Friday's game against Minnesota, Brett Cyrgalis of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's no secret that the Rangers are looking to sell prior to Monday's trade deadline, and with Michael Grabner already headed to New Jersey in a deal with the Devils, Nash is now New York's last piece that is sure to be with a new team next week. If the 33-year-old winger isn't already on a new roster prior to puck drop Sunday against Detroit, he'll undoubtedly sit that contest out as well.

Nash will sit out Thursday's game against the Canadiens with the team in ongoing discussions to deal him, Brett Cyrgalis of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rangers don't want to risk an injury nixing a trade to another club, so they will hold Nash out of Thursday's festivities. The veteran winger may have already played his last game in a Rangers uniform, with only one game Friday remaining before the trade deadline. The Rangers recalled Vinni Lettieri from AHL Hartford on Thursday, and he and Paul Carey will sub in for Nash and Michael Grabner.

Nash submitted his no-trade list to the Rangers on Sunday, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
As a proven 20-goal scorer, Nash could garner a healthy return on the market as a one-year rental. The Ontario native will be a free agent following the 2017-18 campaign, which means the Rangers will try to shop him before the deadline in order to get some kind of return. Where he lands -- likely a playoff contender -- will determine what sort of fantasy value the 33-year-old will offer for the remainder of the season.

Nash scored twice -- including once on the power play -- in Tuesday's loss to the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Nash was credited with seven shots on goal in a dominant outing in which he hit the 15-goal mark for the 15th straight season. The power forward has hit his stride recently, scoring six times in his last five outings. Nash only has 10 assists this season, but he's shooting often and playing on the top line, so its hard to complain. At 33 years of age, Nash's goal-scoring ability still makes him worth owning in a wide variety of fantasy formats.

Nash erupted for his second consecutive two-goal game in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
Nash opened the scoring in the first period and benefited from a favorable bounce off the boards to tap in another go-ahead goal in the third. If the 12-time 20-goal scorer was dropped onto the waiver wire during his 12-game goal drought, owners with room to spare would be wise to give Nash a look given his recent turnaround.
