Dahlin scored Buffalo's only goal through overtime in a 2-1 shootout loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
It was his first goal in eight games, but his fourth point in his last seven games. The 18-year-old Dahlin has a remarkable 33 points in 60 games, a pace that will deliver him a 45-point rookie season. Dahlin's ascension into the league's elite on the blue line is happening fast.

Dahlin and Rasmus Ristolainen aren't working as a pairing, Joe Yerdon of the Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dahlin was paired with Rasmus Ristolainen during Tuesday's contest versus Minnesota, but they didn't play well together. This has been the case whenever they've been paired together. Interestingly, Dahlin has improved the CorsiFor for every defenseman he's been paired with, except Ristolainen, where it's gotten worse. Don't expect them to be paired together in the future, as they've shown to be better when separated.

Dahlin tallied a power-play goal in Tuesday's win over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
It was a nice bounce back performance for Dahlin, who had been held pointless in his prior two outings while posting a minus-4 rating. The goal brings him up to 29 points, with 10 of them coming from the man advantage. He has the second highest point total among all rookies, and should remain in the Calder Trophy conversation all year.

Dahlin picked up two assists while adding two shots and a plus-4 rating in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
The teenage phenom saw his five-game point streak snapped right before the All-Star break, but Dahlin kicked off the unofficial second half in style. The first overall pick in the 2018 draft now has five goals and 28 points through 49 games to begin what promises to be a very impressive NHL career.

Dahlin became just the fourth defenseman to record a five-game point streak before turning 19, John Vogl of the Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dahlin is in exclusive company, joining Aaron Ekblad, Phil Housley and Bobby Orr as the only ones to ever achieve the feat. Dahlin could've set the record himself but was blanked in Friday's contest with Vancouver. Still, the rookie has six points in his past six games, and continues to get better as he becomes more confident on the ice.

Dahlin picked up a pair of assists in a 4-2 victory over Boston on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Dahlin has notched a goal and four assists in his last two games, bringing him to 19 points in 34 games to start his NHL career. The 18-year-old Swede is also logging over 20 minutes of ice time per game. He should continue scoring at a decent clip while playing a strong two-way game all season.

Dahlin had eights shots on goal and 10:04 on the power play in Tuesday's win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Getting over 10 minutes of power-play time doesn't happen every day, but Dahlin wasn't able to take advantage of the opportunity. He's getting chances, noted by his eight shots on target, but is snake-bitten right now. He won the rookie of the month award for November, but has gone pointless in his past six contests, five of which being Buffalo losses. Being new to the NHL comes with its ups and downs, and Dahlin likely won't go pointless for many more games should he continue to see quality power-play minutes.

Dahlin was awarded the top NHL rookie for November.
EDGE Analysis
Dahlin had 10 points in 15 games during the month of November. After a relatively slow start in October with four points in 12 games, he has become much more comfortable on the ice. His Sabres have surged to the top of the standings, and Dahlin has been a large factor in their success. He's working his way into the Calder Trophy race as the league's top rookie.

Dahlin picked up a power-play assist while on the top unit, Lance Lysowski of the Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
That makes three straight games Dahlin has a power-play assist, and has really started to show his offensive talents, with eight points in his past eight games. The plan is for Dahlin and Rasmus Ristolainen to rotate in and out of the top power play pairing over the course of the season. This gives each defenseman a considerable fantasy boost when its their turn on that unit.

Dahlin registered his first multi-point game in the NHL Saturday in a 4-3 shootout win over the Canucks. He delivered two assists.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the first of many for the future Norris winner. Dahlin is on a 35-point pace right now, but that could increase. The talent is clearly there. Dahlin is a delicious keeper, but is only a deep bench option in most leagues right now.
