Krebs will take part in the Golden Knights' Phase 3 training camp.
EDGE Analysis
Krebs is coming off another fantastic junior season, as he racked up 60 points in 38 appearances with WHL Winnipeg. Selected by the club with the 17th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, the 19-year-old center could be in line for a regular spot on the 23-man roster heading into the 2020-21 campaign. In addition to Krebs, the organization called in forwards Gage Quinney, Keegan Kolesar, Reid Duke, and Patrick Brown, defensemen Nicolas Hague, Jake Bischoff, Jimmy Schuldt and Dylan Coghlan and netminder Oscar Dansk.

Krebs signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Golden Knights on Saturday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Krebs dropped to the Golden Knights at 17th overall in this year's draft largely due to an Achilles injury he suffered in June, but he's now fully healthy and set to make his season debut with WHL Winnipeg on Sunday against the Portland Winterhawks. The 18-year-old forward is likely still a few years away from making an impact at the NHL level, but he's got serious top-six potential, making him a name to watch in redraft formats and a player worth stashing in dynasty leagues.

Krebs (Achilles) has been returned to WHL Winnipeg, Mike Sawatzky of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Krebs required surgery to repair a partially severed Achilles in June, but he's expected to return to action for Sunday's game versus the Portland Winterhawks. The first-round pick from 2019 will be playing his third full season of junior hockey. The 18-year-old had 68 points (19 goals, 49 helpers) in 64 contests in 2018-19 with the then Kootenay Ice. Krebs is likely still at least two years away from making an impact in the NHL, but he could get a chance to showcase his talents in the World Junior Championship if Team Canada names him to its roster.

Krebs (Achilles) has begun a skating program, Scott Cruickshank of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 2019 first-rounder (17th overall) is recovering from surgery in June. Krebs is currently living in Las Vegas and rooming with future teammate Mark Stone while rehabbing on a daily basis under the watchful eyes of the Golden Knights training and medical staff. Krebs' goal is to be ready for the World Junior Championship in late December, although it remains to be seen how realistic that is. He will return to his WHL club in Winnipeg (formerly Kootenay) when he is cleared to play.
