Kane was presented with the Hart Trophy as the NHL's Most Valuable Player at the NHL Awards ceremony Wednesday, and also won the Ted Lindsay Award for most outstanding player as voted by the players.
EDGE Analysis
Kane is just the second American-born player to win the Hart Trophy in NHL history, and the first Blackhawks player to take home the award since Stan Mikita won it in 1968. Both awards are well deserved, as Kane was fantastic this season, setting career highs in goals (46), assists (60) and shots on goal (287). The gifted winger's whopping 106 total points were enough to earn him the Art Ross Trophy as the NHL's leading scorer in 2015-16. At 27-years-old, Kane is currently in the prime of his career, and should be in line for another monster season in 2016-17 barring injury.

Kane scored the game-winning goal and tacked on an assist in Thursday's Game 5 victory over the Blues in double overtime.
EDGE Analysis
With no goals and four assists coming into Thursday, Kane finally found twine, and it couldn't have come at a better moment to keep the Blackhawk's hopes alive. The 27-year-old now has five career tallies in the playoffs, and this multi-point outing could be the one that catapults more big outings as the series continues.

Kane had two assists in Friday's Game 2 win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
It was a strong offensive night for Kane, who also fired four shots on goal as Chicago evened up their first-round series with the Blues. The 26-year-old was held at bay in Game 1, but the Blues couldn't shut him down Friday. With 116 points in 118 career NHL playoff games, Kane is a proven postseason performer who will be a key factor during Chicago's playoff run.

Kane has won the 2015-16 Art Ross Trophy by leading the NHL in scoring with 106 points (46 goals, 60 assists) in 82 games.
EDGE Analysis
Kane made NHL history this season, as he's the first American-born player to take home the Art Ross Trophy since the award's inception in 1947-48. The 27-year-old winger set career highs in goals (46), assists (60) and shots on goal (287) in 2015-16, and contributed on an absurd 45 percent of the goals the Blackhawks scored this season. Kane's success was aided by the chemistry he developed with his linemates Artemi Panarin and Artem Anisimov, a line that became one of the NHL's most potent offensive units in 2015-16. The Blackhawks will hope that Kane can continue to play at an MVP level in the team's upcoming first-round playoff series with St. Louis.

Kane scored twice while also notching a power-play helper and plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
Let's just go ahead and lay out Kane's numbers on the year -- 46 goals, 60 assists and a plus-17 rating. Obviously, these are all career highs for the superstar winger, and the second line with rookie Artemi Panarin (77 points) is just plain scary. Oh, and the 27-year-old reached the scoresheet in four straight to finish out the season -- watch out St. Louis.

Kane assisted on Chicago's lone goal in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
If you thought one goal on the scoreboard meant Kane may not have recorded points, you thought wrong. The superstar winger earned a place on the box score for the fourth straight game, totaling a ridiculous five tallies and four apples in that stretch. The 27-year-old is feasting with an endless appetite for points -- he has 103 to date.

Kane scored a goal and added an assist -- both on the power play -- in Tuesday's 6-2 trouncing of the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Kane has been a monster to begin April -- not surprisingly -- as the star has recorded five markers and three helpers in three outings. The 27-year-old leads the NHL with a ridiculous 102 points, 14 more than Jamie Benn who sits in second. The 2007 No. 1 pick has blossomed into an unquestioned fantasy stud, and he should be taking home the Art Ross trophy when it's all said and done.

Kane picked up a hat trick -- including a power-play goal -- and dished out a helper in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
There's nothing more to say about Kane. He's been an absolute fantasy beast this season, reaching the 100-point level for the first time in his career. Kane's performance on Sunday gives him four goals in the last two games and eight points in his last five. The star winger isn't showing any signs of slowing down, and is treating up for a long run in the postseason. Continue to roll with him in all fantasy formats.

Kane missed practice Friday but was simply getting extra rest. He will play Saturday night against the Flames, CSN Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fantasy owners can safely use the league's top point getter Saturday. Perhaps the rest will help Kane get back on track as he's posted just three points in the past seven games -- that wouldn't be terrible for your ordinary player, but more is expected from such a premier scoring talent like Kane.

Kane scored his 39th goal of the season and added an assist in a 4-0 win over Winnipeg on Friday. He also fired six shots on goal and skated to a plus-2.
EDGE Analysis
With his first multi-point effort in five contests, the NHL's leading scorer is now up to a massive 92 points in 72 games this year. With a 12-point cushion on Jamie Benn -- who took home the NHL points crown in 2014-15 -- Kane is all but guaranteed to take home the Art Ross trophy when the regular season ends on April 10, especially since Benn's superstar linemate Tyler Seguin (73 points) is out for the next month or so with a small cut to his Achilles tendon.
