Dupuis (lower body) will be available for Thursday night's home game against the Stars, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a long time coming for a Dupuis return, as a blood clot issue and more recently, an injury to his lower body, has kept him off game ice since Nov. 15, 2014. Expect the 36-year-old to reprise his role among the group of bottom-six forwards.

Dupuis (lower body) practiced again on Wednesday, Shelly Anderson reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dupuis hasn't played since Nov. 15, 2014 after discovering blood clots. He's since been cleared to play, but sustained a lower body injury during practice just before the season started. The 36-year-old put up a career-high 59 points in 2011-12, but has scored 69 points total ever since.

Dupuis (lower body) participate in the Pens' morning skate Tuesday, Jason Mackey of Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dupuis has been skating and practicing with the team over the past week, which bodes well for his chance to return to game ice sooner than later. He hasn't played in a game since Nov. 15 of 2014 as he's dealt with blood clots and most recently, a lower-body injury.

Dupuis (lower body) returned to practice with the Penguins on Sunday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Triubne-Review reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dupuis remains without a definite timetable for return, but his presence on the ice at practice Sunday could indicate it's not that far off. The veteran winger collected 11 points in 16 games last season, and will look to play a larger portion of games in 2015-16 when healthy.

Dupuis (lower body) skated with trainers Thursday but isn't expected back until Nov. 3 at the earliest, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pens coach Mike Johnston cautioned against reading into anything with Dupuis hitting the ice. "If he was with the team," Johnston said, "I would say he's ahead of schedule." Nevertheless, Dupuis skating is a good step for the 36-year-old forward.

Dupuis will be out for at least one month with a lower-body injury, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
EDGE Analysis
Just when Dupuis is said to have put a blood clot issue behind him, this new but apparently unrelated malady crops up. When healthy, the 36-year-old Dupuis should find a place on the team's third line.

Dupuis (undisclosed) has been ruled out of the Penguins' Thursday night season opener against the Stars, Jonathan Bombulie of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
EDGE Analysis
The injury reportedly isn't related to the blood clot issues that plagued Dupuis last season, but is apparently serious enough to hold him out of Thursday's contest. The Penguins should provide further details regarding the 36-year-old winger's status in the coming days.

Dupuis (undisclosed) didn't practice Monday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
EDGE Analysis
It isn't clear whether Dupuis is actually injured or was just given a maintenance day, but his status for Thursday's regular-season opener against the Stars is now up in the air. The team should provide an update on the 36-year-old veteran's status in the coming days.

Dupuis skated just over 16 minutes Tuesday in his first action since missing most of 2014-15 with a potentially life-threatening blood clot.
EDGE Analysis
The 36-year-old winger hasn't lost a step but it's doubtful he skates top six with the addition of Phil Kessel -- barring injury. Dupuis is so versatile that it wouldn't be surprising to see him moving up and down lines throughout the season, based on team need. He scored six goals and 11 points in 16 games last year before sitting with the blood clot in his lungs.

Dupuis (blood clots) has been cleared to fully participate in training camp.
EDGE Analysis
Doctors had already given Dupuis clearance to absorb contact in June, so it's no surprise that the Pens' training staff has signed off on the veteran winger's availability. Few NHL players have had as difficult luck on the health front as Dupuis the last two years, as he suffered a season-ending ACL tear in February 2014 and was limited to 16 games in 2014-15 after he was diagnosed with a blood clot in his lung last November. The winger has been free of the blood clots for several months now, and is expected to resume his career without any further complications. However, now that he's 36 years old and has spent little time on the ice the last two seasons, look for Dupuis to take on a decreased role on the Pens' attack, especially after the team added Phil Kessel, David Perron, Eric Fehr, and Sergei Plotnikov to their forward ranks while Dupuis was out.
