Stephens notched an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 7-1 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Stephens moved up to the third line after Cedric Paquette's injury in the second period. It was in this role that Stephens set up Alex Killorn's tally at 10:45 of the third period. The 22-year-old has produced four points, 24 shots and 19 hits in 20 contests. Stephens isn't likely to make a fantasy impact yet, but the second-round pick from 2015 could be worth hanging onto in dynasty formats.

Stephens registered a goal on three shots and had two hits in Sunday's 3-1 win over Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Stephens buried a perfect backdoor feed from Carter Verhaeghe less than three minutes into the game to open the scoring. It was the second goal of the season for the 22-year-old rookie, who saw just over nine minutes of playing time.

The Lightning recalled Stephens from AHL Syracuse on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Stephens, who has previously appeared in four games with the Bolts this season, could crack the lineup Tuesday against the Senators with both Nikita Kucherov (lower body) and Tyler Johnson (lower body) uncertain to be available. If he dresses versus Ottawa, Stephens would likely occupy a spot on the third or fourth line.

The Lightning assigned Stephens to AHL Syracuse on Sunday, Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stephens was called up due to injuries to the Lightning's forward corps, recording zero points and a minus-4 rating over four games. However, he was strong at the faceoff dot, winning 18 of 26 draws (69.2 percent). The Lightning currently have just 12 forwards on the roster, so Stephens may be recalled before Tuesday's game against the Senators.

The Lightning recalled Stephens from AHL Syracuse on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Stephens was selected by the Lightning in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, but he hasn't played an NHL game yet. Instead, the 22-year-old has spent his time in the minors, and he's registered 10 points through 24 games this year. It's unsettled whether Stephens will make his NHL debut during this stint, as the team recalled veteran Cory Conacher as well.

Stephens' strong play stood out Tuesday in a 3-0 preseason loss to Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
It was a tough night overall for the Bolts, but Stephens flashed some good hands in the first period. He pressured on the forecheck, stripped the puck away and quickly fired a dangerous backhander. Stephens also stood out on the penalty kill. The Bolts don't have many (if any) open forward spots on the roster, so Stephens will be ticketed to the minors again this year. But impressing team brass this preseason is critical in his development.

Stephens was sent down to AHL Syracuse on Sunday, Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stephens posted 19 goals and 41 points in 70 games with the Syracuse Crunch last season and figures to spend most of his time in the AHL once again. The Lightning have a very deep group of forwards and the 21-year-old could still be a year or two away from consistent NHL playing time.

Stephens earned a spot on Tampa's Black Aces for the postseason run with a strong rookie campaign in the AHL.
EDGE Analysis
Stephens finished the AHL regular season with 41 points, including 19 goals, and a plus-17 rating in 70 games. He then turned up the volume in the postseason with six points (one goal, five assists) in seven games. Stephens won't see playoff action with the Bolts, but the experience on the Black Aces will grow his game immeasurably. He probably won't see NHL action for another couple seasons, but he'll be an versatile, two-way pivot on the third line once he arrives.

Stephens posted a goal and an assist to help lead AHL Syracuse to a 3-2 win over Bridgeport on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
With 17 goals and 31 points in 49 games, Stephens' first AHL season has been a rousing success. He is an extremely smart defensive player and he rarely makes mistakes with the puck on his stick. As the Lightning look to add to their roster in the coming weeks, Stephens is a player to keep an eye on. Other NHL clubs will certainly be asking about him in their conversations with Tampa GM Steve Yzerman.

Stephens racked up a hat trick and added a pair of assists to help lead OHL London to 7-6 shootout win over Owen Sound on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Stephens added the game-winning goal in the shootout for good measure. The 2015 second-round pick now has 10 points in eight games for the Knights since a trade from Saginaw two weeks ago. Stephens doesn't project to be a huge point-producer at the NHL level, but he has a very high floor as a third-liner who is capable of playing a multitude of roles for the Lightning.
