Koskinen is riding a three-game winning streak during which he has registered a 2.22 GAA and .933 save percentage. Now that the Oilers' offense has rediscovered its game, no doubt partly owing to the return of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, the 33-year-old Koskinen should be able to continue picking up wins considering he doesn't have to be perfect but just good enough to keep things close. As such, fantasy players probably shouldn't be expecting the Finn to record a lot of shutouts this year. In fact, he has just one over the previous three seasons combined.

Koskinen stopped 28 of 30 shots in Thursday's 3-2 shootout win over the Predators.

The Oilers never led in regulation, but Koskinen was strong enough to keep them on fairly level terms. He then turned aside all three of the Predators' shootout attempts. The 33-year-old has turned things around lately with wins in his last three starts, allowing only seven goals in that span. The Finn has a 15-8-1 record with a 3.18 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 24 appearances. The Oilers begin a three-game road trip Saturday in Montreal, which would be a great matchup for Koskinen should he draw the start.

The Predators have averaged 3.08 goals and 27.7 shots on goal alongside a 14-7-3 record on the road this season, tied for second-most road wins in the NHL. Koskinen has emerged victorious from his last two starts and Nashville is on a three-game win streak.

Koskinen made 25 saves on 27 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Canucks.

Koskinen had a rough stretch of two goals allowed in the second period, though both were more from the failings of the Oilers' defense. In the third, the Finn stood tall to allow the Oilers to tie it before Connor McDavid won the game in overtime. Koskinen has won two starts in a row to improve to 14-8-1 with a 3.24 GAA and an .899 save percentage in 23 appearances. The Oilers are back home for a meeting with the Predators on Thursday before a road trip to the Eastern Conference that begins Saturday in Montreal.

Vancouver is coming off a 3-1 loss against St. Louis on Sunday. At home this season, the Canucks have gone 8-8-2 while averaging 32.3 shots on goal and 2.17 goals for, ranking 13th and 31st respectively.

Koskinen stopped 44 of 47 shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Flames.

Koskinen not only faced a barrage, but he was able to make a handful of impressive saves to keep the Oilers in it. He snapped his personal 0-6-1 skid with the win Saturday with arguably his best performance since the start of December. The Finnish netminder is now 13-8-1 with a 3.31 GAA and an .898 save percentage in 22 appearances. He'll look to carry some positive momentum into Tuesday's game versus the Canucks, assuming Mike Smith (thumb) isn't able to return.

Koskinen will guard the cage at home Saturday against Calgary, per Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network.

The 33-year-old goalie has not won a game since all the way back on Dec. 1 against Pittsburgh, back when he and the Oilers had been up to their necks in success. Since then, Koskinen has gone winless in seven starts with a GAA above 4.

Koskinen and the Oilers won't play the Senators on Monday due to COVID-19 postponements.
