He's still likely to be a solid depth defenseman in fantasy, as he's reached the 30-point mark in each of his four full NHL campaigns.

Sergachev concentrated on his offensive game this offseason and is focused on scoring more this season, reports the Tampa Bay Times.

"I didn't score a lot of goals last year," he said. "So I was working on my shot. ... That's one area I was trying to work on - scores and angles - as much as possible to help the team win." Sergachev scored just four goals last season after averaging eight over his first three full seasons and his shooting percentage was an abysmal 3.7 shooting percentage. Sergachev remains behind Victor Hedman for power-play time, but his strong foundation of two-way play already has him poised for further growth in his game.

Sergachev blocked five shots and provided four hits in 24:29 of ice-time in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Hurricanes.

The Bolts got lots of help from stellar play from Andrei Vasilevskiy in this series-clinching game, but the same could be said about Sergachev, who put his body on the line to secure the victory. The 22-year-old has provided just two points in this postseason but has racked up 22 blocks and 28 hits in 11 games.

Sergachev posted an assist, two shots on goal, a pair of hits and two PIM in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Panthers in Game 6.
