Smith had some tests done today because he was dealing with a headache last night. It does not sound like he suffered a serious injury.

Smith was pulled last night vs. the Kings after giving up four goals on 22 shots. He will be back between the pipes tonight vs. the Kings again. The Coyotes have yet to score a goal in three games on their current road trip. Smith is a good goalie, but he needs some help from his team if he is going to pick up wins on a consistent basis.

He also recorded a shutout even though he lost, because he held the Blue Jackets scoreless through regulation and a shootout. He has a tough matchup tonight vs. the Kings.
