Ribeiro contributed an assist in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche, giving him six points in his last seven games.
EDGE Analysis
Ribeiro now has 13 points in 22 games, putting him roughly on pace for the same 50-point season he had last year. Trouble is, he's seeing less ice time than he was last season (15:54 vs. 17:27) as he has been bouncing between the second and third lines. This likely gives him a bit more downside in fantasy terms, so don't rely on him too heavily.

Ribeiro lit the lamp on the power play Saturday, but the Predators lost to the Blues on the road, 3-1.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a predictable start to the season for the veteran pivot, as he's dialed in seven helpers but only two goals in 16 games. This puts him on pace to secure around 46 points, which would represent a drop in production for the second straight campaign.

Ribeiro scored a goal on his only shot, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-1 win over Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
He'd been mired in a slump lately, tallying just a single assist over the past five games; Ribeiro also broke a streak of three consecutive games without a shot on goal. That pretty well illustrates both the good news and the bad news that he brings to fantasy teams; the playmaking pivot is a reluctant shooter who's 36 years old and well removed from his days of stardom.

Ribeiro scored an assist for the second straight game Thursday against the Coyotes. He also saw a season-high 18:28 in ice time, including 4:12 on the power play.
EDGE Analysis
Ribeiro was bumped up to the second line Thursday after Mike Fisher was scratched with an upper-body injury. Ribeiro will likely be dropped back to third-line status once Fisher returns, but fantasy owners should take advantage of his top-six status while it lasts. With six points in 10 games this season, Ribeiro is on pace for another 50-point season similar to last year, so if that's the output level you had in mind when you drafted him, he shouldn't be disappointing you right now.

Ribeiro scored his first goal of the season during Friday's loss to Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Ribeiro's shot volume isn't going to reward many goals, as he's registered just three shots on net to start the year. He recorded just 76 shots through 81 games last season, too. And while he's a good bet to provide plenty of assists, it is the only category he helps in other than penalty minutes. Also, at 36, Ribeiro's best offensive years are in the rear-view mirror. He's a low-end center option in most fantasy settings at this stage of his career.

The Predators plan to keep Ribeiro around next season, though general manager David Poile said the forward "really needs to have the summer of his life to regain his position back on the top two lines," The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ribeiro only had two points through two playoff rounds, and Preds coach Peter Laviolette went as far as benching him against the Sharks in Games 3 and 4 of the conference semifinals. Perhaps the biggest knock on the 36-year-old is that he doesn't always give it his all in the defensive zone and isn't much of a scoring threat at this juncture. His seven goals in the regular season counted as his lowest output in 13 seasons, though he did manage to set up 43 goals. Ribeiro has one year left on his contract with the Predators. He'll garner $3.5 million next season, but it sounds like he'll be shown the door if he doesn't step up in 2016-17.

Ribeiro was not on the ice for pregame warmups, indicating he will serve as a healthy scratch for Tuesday's Game 3 against the Sharks, John Glennon of The Tennessean reports.
EDGE Analysis
As The Tennessean's Adam Vingan notes, Ribeiro's postseason has been rather lackluster thus far, having produced just one assist and a minus-3 rating in over nine postseason games. It's quite possible this will be just a one-game break for him but Pontus Aberg will look to take advantage of his first NHL action.

Ribeiro (rest) won't suit up for Saturday's regular-season finale against the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
With their postseason seeding already finalized, the Predators have decided to give Ribeiro, and a few other veteran players, an extra day of rest Saturday ahead of the team's upcoming first-round playoff series. The 36-year-old center will draw back into the lineup for Nashville's first postseason contest.

Ribeiro earned his 50th point of the season with an assist in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
Ribeiro was making it tough on himself to reach 50 for the second consecutive year, as the 36-year-old had totaled just two points in his last 11 outings coming into Saturday (they came in the same game). It's been a rough stretch for the veteran, as fatigue could be factoring in as the season winds down -- this is his 16th campaign, mind you.

Ribeiro had two assists in Saturday's win over Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
It was just the first points in eight games for the second-line center, who had gone quiet for a surging Nashville team. Ribeiro is now up to 49 points in 75 games and has been a solid source of offense for the Predators. His goal total (seven) is low, but Ribeiro has posted back-to-back 40-assist seasons since arriving in Nashville and is a great playmaker. Now that he's out of that recent slump, get him back in your lineup.
