Liambas, if he clears waivers, will be reassigned to AHL Milwaukee where he previously played between 2012 and 2015. Over that span, the winger was known more for his physicality than his scoring as he tallied just 17 points but racked up an astronomical 499 PIM. With enforcers growing scarce, the 27-year-old may never get a chance to suit up in an NHL game.

Liambas agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way deal with Nashville on Wednesday worth $575,000 at the NHL level, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
