Granlund skated a season-low 13:20 in Thursday's 9-4 blowout loss to the Avalanche, extending his current pointless streak to 11 games.
EDGE Analysis
This is starting to get ugly. Last season, Granlund was coming off two consecutive 60-plus point campaigns when the Preds acquired him from the Wild via trade, and he was expected to add some real scoring pop to the Preds' top line. This season, however, he has just four points in 16 games and was recently shuffled down to the fourth line. Whether the demotion is permanent or not remains to be seen, but for the time being, Granlund should be firmly stashed away on your fantasy bench until he finds a way to right the ship.

Granlund extended his current scoring slump to six games in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Lightning, despite seeing a season-high 19:35 in ice time and firing three shots on goal.
EDGE Analysis
Now with just nine points in 27 regular-season games since being acquired him from the Wild via trade last February, it's safe to say Granlund has been a huge disappointment for the Preds, especially following his two consecutive 60-plus point seasons in Minnesota. For now, he will continue to skate in a top-six capacity for the Preds, currently on the second line with Kyle Turris and Rocco Grimaldi, however it might take the return of Matt Duchene (currently out with a lower-body injury) to get Granlund going again. Feel free to stash him on your fantasy bench for the time being.

Granlund had two assists and four shots on goal in Thursday's 6-5 win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old assisted on goals by Filip Forsberg and Matt Duchene, his first time on the scoresheet since scoring a goal in the season opener. Acquired at last year's trade deadline from Minnesota, Granlund struggled with just one goal in 16 games as a Predator but had been a 20-goal man for the Wild in each of the previous two seasons. If he stays on a line with Forsberg and Duchene, he should be able to turn in a productive offensive season.

Granlund scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 3-2 win over the Stars in Game 3.
EDGE Analysis
Granlund had registered only three assists in his previous 14 games before finally breaking the goal drought. He's struggled to adjust to life with the Predators, making it hard to recommend the Finnish forward for fantasy purposes.

Granlund assisted on both Predators goals in a 3-2 loss to the Ducks on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The goals came 58 seconds apart late in the third period, and both were scored by Filip Forsberg in an attempt at a comeback. Granlund is beginning to gel with his new teammates, with four points in five games as a Predator. He's up to 53 points in 68 games as a whole, with 20 of those coming with a man advantage.

Granlund potted a goal in a 5-3 loss to the Hurricanes on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Granlund has two points in four games since the trade on Feb. 25, as well as nine hits in that span. He only had 28 hits across 63 games with the Wild, so it's unlikely the skilled forward will keep up the physical pace. Granlund does have 51 points (16 goals, 35 assists) in 67 appearances this year, and has been filled in for Filip Forsberg (upper body) on the top line in this contest.

Granlund notched a helped in a 5-3 loss to the Jets on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The versatile forward welcomed a child at the start of the week and ended the week with 50 points in 64 games between the Wild and Predators this season. He may need some time to adjust to his new environment, but Granlund remains a valuable fantasy play and should help Nashville's 18th-ranked offense of 2.94 goals per game.

Granlund will make his debut for the Predators in Friday's clash with Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
Between traveling from Minnesota and the birth of his child, Granlund has been unable to suit up for the team since being acquired at the trade deadline. The center figures to slot into a top-six role and should also be a factor on the power play.

Predators general manager David Poile has not yet decided when Granlund (personal) will make his Predators debut, Robby Stanley of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Granlund and his fiancee are expecting a child any day, so the Predators' new winger may be delayed in making his much-anticipated debut with Nashville. The 26-year-old brings some needed offense to his new club, scoring 15 goals and posting 49 points in 68 games this season. Following back-to-back games on Monday and Tuesday, the Preds are off until Friday which gives Granlund and his family plenty of time to sort out what is undoubtedly a hectic and chaotic situation.

The Wild traded Granlund to the Predators in exchange for Kevin Fiala on Monday, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is a swap of two forwards, but Granlund is the much more refined option at this point in time.
