Michael Ryder scored in Dallas' 4-3 loss versus the Blues on Saturday night. Ryder has been the beneficiary of some good luck as he has goals (three) on 25 percent of his shots. Still, he three 30-plus goal seasons under his belt so it's not very surprising to see him score with regularity. Space will only open up after Jamie Benn returns, too. Ryan Garbutt and Tomas Vincour had the other markers in the loss.

Michael Ryder potted his first two goals of the campaign Tuesday as the Stars edged Detroit by a score of 2-1. Lost amidst the bevy of talented forwards on the Dallas roster, Ryder very quietly set a personal-best with 35 goals last season. He has been lining up alongside playmaker Ray Whitney so there's no reason to think he'll suffer a major drop in production.

Michael Ryder enjoyed a great first season in Dallas during the 2011-12 campaign, but the off-season trade of Mike Ribeiro leaves the Stars with some decisions to make on who to play with him. Ribeiro had great chemistry with Ryder last year and it helped him score 35 goals and 62 points in 82 games. However, he was dealt to Washington at the draft. Ryder could land a spot with Jamie Benn and Loui Eriksson, but that position will probably end up going to Jaromir Jagr. It's more likely that he plays with Ray Whitney, who is an accomplished playmaker as well, and Derek Roy when he returns from shoulder surgery. Ryder is also eligible for unrestricted free agency at the end of the 2012-13 season, so he has some extra motivation to perform.

Michael Ryder scored his 27th goal of the season in the Stars 3-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers. Ryder is on pace for another 30 goal season and his first 60 point season since his rookie season. Ryder has continued his trend of having a great first year with a team, he just needs to be able to sustain the production. Playing with skilled players such as Mike Ribero, Loui Eriksson and Jaime Benn has been just what the doctor ordered for the 31 year old winger. He had a terrific February, scoring 9 goals and 6 assists in 16 games. Hopefully he keeps it up in March. Radek Dvorak and Tomas Vincour also scored for the Stars.
