His goal was pure determination and the epitome of never giving up. Eyssimont pushed the game to 2-1 in the first period when he drove the net and jammed the puck off Cayden Primeau's stick and up-and-over the netminder. And his PIM came in the third when he mistakenly thought that Arber Xhekaj was the cause of Brandon Hagel's injury and chased him down to throw fists. But Xhekaj was an innocent bystander when Steven Stamkos slammed an unsuspecting Hagel. It's a great demonstration of why Eyssimont is a fabulous teammate -- he stands up for his guys, and he came within a referee's discretion of a Gordie Howe hat trick. The goal was his 11th of the season.

Eyssimont notched an assist and five hits in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Bruins.

EDGE Analysis

Eyssimont snapped a four-game skid when he assisted on a Mitchell Chaffee tally in the first period. With five points over 10 outings in March, Eyssimont has enjoyed his most productive month since November. The forward is up to 10 goals, 11 assists, 126 shots on net, 115 hits, 95 PIM and a plus-5 rating through 71 contests in a bottom-six role.

Eyssimont scored a goal Thursday in a 6-3 loss to Calgary.

EDGE Analysis

Eyssimont isn't known for his offense -- it was his first goal in 16 games. But he does deliver some meathead stats, like 95 hits and 86 PIM, as well as 120 shots. Eyissimont doesn't deliver much fantasy value, but will make an impact on the ice.
