Grzelyck was injured Monday against Florida, and it's not a great sign that head coach Jim Montgomery is already expecting him to miss extended time. Grzelyck will likely undergo further testing Tuesday to get a better look at his timeline. The Bruins will need to promote some reinforcements to fill in on the blue line, as they currently don't have a seventh defenseman on the roster.

Grzelyck left Monday's contest against Florida with an upper-body injury and will not return.

Lindholm is expected to return Tuesday, but if he misses additional time, Grzelcyk would have some short-term fantasy appeal.

Grzelcyk logged an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

EDGE Analysis

Grzelcyk has shown a little more talent on offense lately with two goals, eight assists and a plus-17 rating over his last 15 contests. The 29-year-old defenseman is up to 19 points, a plus-31 rating, 64 shots on net, 62 blocked shots and 22 PIM through 47 outings overall. He'll continue to log top-four minutes, and he should be on the fantasy radar if he can retain his newfound scoring touch following the All-Star break.

EDGE Analysis

Grzelcyk has racked up five points in his last four contests, including a pair of multi-point outings. The defenseman sees minimal usage with the man advantage, so he'll need to continue producing at even strength. Still, Grzelcyk figures to be a near-lock to reach the 20-point threshold for the fourth straight season and could top last year's career-best performance (24 points).
