Grzelcyk (concussion) will be a game-time decision ahead of Thursday's Game 5 matchup with the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Grzelcyk ditched the non-contact sweater at the game-day skate Thursday. Combined with the blueliner joining the second power-play unit during Wednesday's session, it's hard to imagine the youngster won't be in the lineup for Game 5, despite officially being a game-time call. The Massachusetts native was averaging 17:01 of ice time prior to getting hurt and figures to see a similar workload if he does suit up. Grzelcyk's return, along with the potential availability of Zdeno Chara (jaw), would likely send John Moore and Steve Kampfer back up to the press box.

Grzelcyk (concussion) skated Wednesday in a non-contact jersey, in addition to working with the second power-play unit, per Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic. At the post-practice press conference, the blueliner was optimistic heading into Game 5 against St. Louis on Thursday, telling reporters, "Hopefully I get cleared to play," Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Due to his non-contact designation, Grzelcyk wasn't in the top three pairing for line rushes, but the fact that he was working with the power-play group is a good indication the team is expecting him to be available against the Bruins. If the Massachusetts native doesn't receive final clearance, Urho Vaakanainen could find his way into the lineup for Game 5.

Grzelcyk is currently in the NHL's concussion protocol, Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports Boston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Grzelcyk has been released from the hospital, but he won't make the trip to St. Louis with his teammates ahead of Game 3, so it's safe to assume he'll miss the Bruins' next two contests at a minimum. John Moore will likely replace Grzelcyk on Boston's bottom pairing for the foreseeable future.

Grzelcyk (undisclosed) won't make the trip to St. Louis for Saturday's Game 3 against the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
This news doesn't come as a surprise considering Grzelcyk was reportedly taken to the hospital to undergo additional testing after exiting Game 2 with an undisclosed injury. More information regarding Grzelcyk's injury outlook should surface in the coming days, but for now, John Moore or Steve Kampfer will take his spot in the lineup.

Grzelcyk (undisclosed) went to the hospital for the injury he suffered during Wednesday's Game 2 versus the Blues, Amalie Benjamin of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Grzelcyk was holding his head when he went down and required assistance on his way off the ice. Coach Bruce Cassidy didn't have any update on the blueliner's status following the game, but more information should be revealed ahead of Saturday's Game 3. The loss of Grzelcyk for any significant amount of time will force the Bruins to turn to either John Moore or Steve Kampfer as the sixth defenseman.

Grzelcyk took a hard check to the head in the first period of Game 2, and hasn't returned for the second period, Matt Porter of The Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
Grzelcyk was on the wrong end of an Oscar Sundqvist check from behind at the end of period one, and hasn't returned since. Grzelcyk immediately went down to the ice holding his head and was helped to the locker room. It's unclear if he'll return at some point in the game, but as of now, the Bruins will roll with five defenseman. Connor Clifton could get a bump up to the second-line power play unit as long as Grzelcyk is out.
