Jones permitted three goals on 27 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
While Jones was just okay during regulation, he stopped all three attempts in the shootout to secure the win for the Sharks. The 31-year-old has a 5-2-0 record with a 3.70 GAA and an .878 save percentage in seven games this season. His shootout success is strong -- per Kevin Kurz of The Athletic, Jones' .788 save percentage in shootouts trails only Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy (.852) among active netminders who have played in at least 10 shootouts. That said, it would be more comforting to see Jones take care of business in regulation more frequently. The Sharks meet the Kings again on Thursday.

Jones will defend the blue paint during Tuesday's road game versus LA, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones wasn't great in his last start Friday against Anaheim, surrendering four goals on 37 shots, but he ultimately did enough to pick up his fourth win of the season. The 31-year-old netminder will try to secure a second straight victory in a road matchup with a struggling Kings club that's lost four straight games.

Jones gave up four goals on 37 shots in a 5-4 shootout win over the Ducks on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
A battle with one of the league's worst offenses should have been much easier for Jones, but he allowed the Ducks to score a season-high four goals. The 31-year-old netminder redeemed himself with three saves in the shootout to lock down the win. Jones improved to 4-2-0 despite his 3.87 GAA and .876 save percentage in six games. Devan Dubnyk is set to start Saturday's game versus the Ducks, so the earliest Jones will get back in the crease for a start is Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Jones will start between the pipes in Friday's road game against the Ducks, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones struggled in his last start Jan. 26 against the Avalanche, surrendering five goals on just 19 shots before being replaced by Devan Dubnyk in the second period of the eventual 7-3 loss. The 31-year-old backstop will attempt to bounce back in a favorable road matchup with an Anaheim team that's struggling to score. The Ducks have averaged just 1.73 goals per game through their first 11 contests of the campaign, worst in the NHL.

Jones and the Sharks won't play against the Sharks on Feb. 1 or Feb. 3 as those contests have been postponed.
EDGE Analysis
Per the NHL's statement, four members of the Golden Knights are in the league's COVID-19 protocol. The Sharks currently don't have any players in virus protocol. Their next game is scheduled for Feb. 5 against the Ducks.

Jones surrendered five goals on 19 shots before he was pulled in the second period of Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Jones simply didn't have an answer for the Avalanche's offense, which came from all four lines. Devan Dubnyk replaced Jones in goal and allowed the last two tallies on 23 shots. Jones had won his last two starts before Tuesday's dud. He now has a 3-2-0 record with a 3.91 GAA and an .871 save percentage through five outings. Jones and Dubnyk have mostly alternated starts so far this year -- that would make it the latter's turn in Thursday's rematch with the Avalanche.

Jones will defend the blue paint during Tuesday's road clash with Colorado, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones wasn't great in his last start Sunday against the Wild, surrendering three goals on 29 shots, but he was still able to come away with his third win of the campaign thanks to strong goal support from his teammates. The 31-year-old backstop will attempt to pick up a third straight victory in a matchup with an underperforming Avalanche team that's lost two of its last three games.

Jones allowed three goals on 29 shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
While it was a back-and-forth battle between the two teams, Jones recovered from letting a 3-1 lead slip away. He was steady in the final 10 minutes, allowing the Sharks to pull ahead on a Brent Burns goal at 18:12 of the third period. Jones has allowed 12 goals in four appearances this year, but he's gone 3-1-0. As long as he gets results, the 31-year-old should see most of the starts for the Sharks. Next up is a two-game set versus the Avalanche on Tuesday and Thursday.

Jones will guard the road goal during Sunday's matchup with Minnesota, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones was sharp in his last start Wednesday against St. Louis, stopping 22 of 23 shots en route to a tidy 2-1 win. The 31-year-old backstop will attempt to pick up his third victory of the season in a tough road matchup with a hot Wild team that's won four of its first five games.

Jones made 23 saves Wednesday in a 2-1 shootout win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Jones bounced back nicely from Saturday's 5-3 loss at Arizona, limiting the host Blues to just a Brayden Schenn short-handed goal early in the second period. Jones' saves against Schenn and Jordan Kyrou in the shootout set the stage for teammate Tomas Hertl to score the winner. Jones and the Sharks continue their road swing with a two-game set this weekend at Minnesota.
