Granlund was on the ice for 21:08 during Wednesday's win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
It's a bit surprising to see him on the ice so much, considering he was a healthy scratch the in game prior. This is partly due to Antoine Roussel leaving the game with a knee injury, so Granlund picked up some of Roussel's minutes. Don't be fooled into thinking Granlund ice time is due to his play -- he's been scratched in three of the past six outings. However, his place in the lineup is a little more secure with all the current injuries to his teammates.

Granlund picked up a goal in Tuesday's loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Granlund had been stuck in the press box during the prior two contests, but came back in for Tuesday's affair, and rewarded his team with a goal. That gives him nine goals and nine assists in 52 games, making him valuable in only the deepest of leagues.

Granlund has gone pointless in his past three games.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to the current drought, Granlund had three points in two games. However, prior to that, he was held pointless for eight straight contests. His 17 points in 51 games this year show he can chip in, but can't be relied on to score. He can provide some value to those in deeper leagues.

Granlund has three points in his last five games after having only one point in his previous 12 contests.
EDGE Analysis
Two seasons ago, Granlund scored 19 goals and added 13 assists as a 23-year-old. Last year, he saw his numbers drop to eight goals and four assists. However, the Finn is rebounding a bit, as he has six goals and eight helpers through 39 games this year.

Granlund will look to snap his six game point drought Thursday versus Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Granlund has been ice cold for the past few weeks, having just a single point in his last dozen games. He has 11 points in 33 games, and needs just two more to surpass last season's total. Centering the third line and second power-play unit, the opportunities are there for him to succeed. If he can get on the scoresheet soon, that would do wonders for his confidence and getting him back on track.

Granlund tallied one assist Tuesday, in a 3-2 overtime win against the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
The Finnish-born center logged 17:00 of ice time Tuesday, registering one point along the way. Now with three in the season's first six games, Granlund continues to try and help shoulder at least some of the load left behind by the Sedins retiring, though expecting the 25-year-old to replace two Canucks legends is not realistic. Regardless of format, Granlund probably isn't worth a spot on your fantasy roster.

Granlund (ankle) will suit up versus the Oilers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Granlund saw a significant drop in production last season, as he managed a mere eight goals and four assists -- well of the 32 points he put up in 2016-17. With the Sedin twins gone, the natural center should take on a bigger role this year.

Granlund (ankle) secured a one-year contract extension with the Canucks on Friday. According to Irfaan Gaffar of Sportsnet, the deal is worth $1.475 million.
EDGE Analysis
Granlund is a versatile two-way contributor, but he hasn't quite lived up to his lofty draft profile since the Flames originally took him in the second round of the 2011 draft. The Finn recorded eight goals and four assists against a minus-10 rating over 53 games of an injury-shortened 2017-18 campaign with Vancouver. Granlund underwent ankle surgery in February, but the team hasn't offered much of an update in that regard, so we'll take that as a "no news is good news" scenario.

Granlund (ankle) is set to undergo surgery with Canucks coach Travis Green telling reporters the winger "will be out a while."
EDGE Analysis
While there's no firm timetable for Granlund's return, it's safe to deduce that he'll miss at least a month since he'll go under the knife and would otherwise put a ton of stress on the injured ankle through skating. The Canucks are flush with offensive talent on the right wing even without Granlund, whose spot in the lineup should continue to be filled by Reid Boucher -- a 24-year-old who busted out with a two-goal performance in the last game in Dallas on Sunday.

The Canucks placed Granlund (ankle) on injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL's official media site.
EDGE Analysis
Granlund has already missed one game due to his ankle ailment, and now he'll miss at least three more after landing on the injured list Saturday. The 24-year-old forward's absence will test the Canucks' depth up front, but it shouldn't impact many fantasy lineups, as he's only totaled eight goals and 12 points in 53 games this campaign.
