Stone scored twice, added an assist, blocked four shots, doled out two hits and went plus-4 in Wednesday's 8-4 win over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
After spending much of the preseason on his own line, Stone was moved up to play alongside Jack Eichel and Ivan Barbashev in the season opener. The trio exploded for four goals and 11 points in a high-scoring win. Stone's talent is not in question -- he can play at a 60-point pace or better -- but he is injury prone, having missed 110 contests over the last three years. He's also no lock to stay alongside Eichel, as the Golden Knights are a bit thin on the wings and may look to spread out the offense as the season progresses.

Stone scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 6-5 preseason loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Stone's goal put Vegas ahead 4-3, but they had a defensive collapse late in the third period. The 32-year-old winger produced two points over three preseason contests. Stone has the potential to flirt with the point-per-game mark, but the bigger question is how many games he'll be able to play after missing significant time in each of the last three campaigns. When healthy, he's a lock for a top-six role and a spot on the first power-play unit, and if he sticks with Jack Eichel on the top line, that'll give Stone a little bit more upside.

Stone scored an empty-net goal in Friday's 2-0 win over the Stars in Game 6.
EDGE Analysis
Stone has produced modest offense in the first round, earning three goals with 10 shots on net , 12 hits and a minus-2 rating over six appearances. He's exceeded 18 minutes of ice time in four of those games, so it's safe to assume he's not being bothered too much by the lacerated spleen that kept him out of the last 26 games of the regular season. Stone should continue to play on the second line and first power-play unit.

Stone scored a power-play goal and went minus-2 in Monday's 4-3 win over the Stars in Game 2.
EDGE Analysis
Stone returned from a 26-game absence due to a lacerated spleen, and it took him just 1:23 into the contest to make an impact. He tipped in a Noah Hanifin shot to open the scoring. Stone had 16 goals and 37 assists over 56 regular-season outings, so he could flirt with a point-per-game pace in the playoffs. He also saw 17:09 of ice time Monday -- that's lower than his 19:24 average ice time from the regular season, but it was second-most among Vegas forwards in Game 1.

Stone (abdomen) will be in action against Dallas for Game 1 on Monday, Gary Lawless of the Golden Knights' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stone will return to action following a 26-game stint on injured reserve due to a lacerated spleen. Prior to getting hurt, the 31-year-old was rolling offensively with 53 points in 56 games and could have been headed for the 70-point threshold for the second time in his NHL career. Stone is expected to join both the second line and the No. 1 power-play unit.

Stone (abdomen) will be a full-contact participant in Saturday's practice, according to Jesse Granger of The Athletic.
EDGE Analysis
Stone, who hasn't played since Feb. 20 because of a lacerated spleen, might be available to return to the lineup Monday in Game 1 against Dallas. The 31-year-old forward had 16 goals and 53 points in 56 contests during the 2023-24 regular season.

Stone (abdomen) is expected to join his teammates in a non-contact capacity for Friday's morning skate.
EDGE Analysis
Stone likely will be held out for the rest of the regular season, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him enter the lineup for Game 1 of the Golden Knights' first-round playoff series, assuming the team is able to secure the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference. He's racked up 16 goals and 53 points through 56 contests this season.

Stone (upper body) was placed on long-term injured reserve Monday, per CapFriendly.
EDGE Analysis
According to Darren Dreger of TSN, Stone is expected to miss the rest of the regular season, so this is mostly a paper move. Stone will end the regular season with 16 goals and 53 points in 56 games, assuming he does not return.

Stone (upper body) is week-to-week, coach Bruce Cassidy told SinBin.vegas on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Stone sustained the injury Tuesday against Nashville. He has 16 goals and 53 points in 56 contests this season. The Golden Knights already put Stone on injured reserve Thursday before calling up Sheldon Rempal from AHL Henderson in a corresponding move. While Stone is unavailable, Brendan Brisson is likely to play regularly and Paul Cotter might serve in an expanded role.

Stone (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Thursday, SinBin.vegas reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stone suffered the injury Tuesday against Nashville and it's possible he could be gone for the remainder of the regular season, just like the previous two seasons, when the Golden Knights used his cap space to pick up a good player at the trade deadline. Stone should, however be ready to go for the playoffs at a minimum. Stone has 16 goals and 53 points in 56 games this season, marking his best performance in the last three years. The Golden Knights have recalled Sheldon Rempal to take Stone's place on the roster.
