Scheifele (leg) told reporters he won't need surgery and anticipates being 100 percent for the 2020-21 campaign, Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele ended the regular season with six goals and eight helpers in his final 11 games, helping him reach the 70-point mark for the second straight year. Assuming he's fully fit, the world-class center should continue being a top point producer for the Jets and an elite-level fantasy option.

Scheifele (leg) apparently didn't suffer a significant injury, as coach Paul Maurice told reporters, "We don't think there's any Achilles damage," Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele still needs to undergo additional testing, however, early indications are he avoided tearing his Achilles. As long as there isn't any significant damage, the world-class center figures to be ready to go for the start of the 2020-21 campaign. Considering he topped the 70-point mark in each of the previous two campaigns, season-long fantasy players should be looking at Scheifele early in their drafts.

Scheifele (leg) did not take warmups and will not play in Thursday's Game 4 versus the Flames, Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele did not participate in the morning skate, so his absence is no surprise. If the Jets stave off elimination Thursday, it's unclear if Scheifele will be able to play Saturday in a potential Game 5. Andrew Copp is likely to continue in a top-line role during Scheifele's absence.

Scheifele (leg) was deemed unfit to practice for Thursday's game-day skate.
EDGE Analysis
While the Jets' haven't officially ruled Scheifele out for Thursday's Game 4 clash with Calgary, the fact that he wasn't able to take part in the morning skate doesn't bode well for a return to action. If the world-class center remains unavailable versus the Flames, Andrew Copp figures to continue playing on the top line with Kyle Connor and Blake Wheeler.

Scheifele (leg) isn't on the ice for warmups and is not expected to be in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Flames, Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele remains sidelined after the nasty hit he took in Game 1, although the diagnosis was positive, it's unclear when the forward could return to the lineup. In his stead, look for Andrew Copp to draw into the lineup as the team's top-line center.

Scheifele (leg), as expected, will miss Monday's clash with Calgary, Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele's absence shouldn't come as a surprise, though TSN's Frank Seravalli reports the center suffered no Achilles damage. The team won't be able to provide much in terms of updates on the Ontario native's status, however, it seems unlikely he will be ready to go in Tuesday's Game 3.

Scheifele (leg) is doubtful for Monday's game against Calgary but his injury doesn't appear to be serious, Sara Orlesky of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is probably the best possible news for Scheifele and the Jets after how serious the injury seemed to be. Unfortunately, it seems that the 27-year-old still could miss both Games 2 and 3 on Monday and Tuesday.

Head coach Paul Maurice said Scheifele (leg) will see a specialist Sunday to assess his injury, Mitchell Clinton of JetsTV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele was injured in a collision with Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk in the first period of Saturday's contest. A timeline for Scheifele's return will likely be determined after the meeting with the specialist.

Scheifele was unable to put any weight on his left leg as he exited the ice during Saturday's game against the Flames, Frank Seravalli of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele appeared to get tangled up with Flames winger Matthew Tkachuk as the latter went for a hit along the side boards in the first period. This could be a potentially devastating, long-term injury for Scheifele and the Jets as a whole. The 27-year-old center co-led the team with 73 points in 71 contests while anchoring the top line. Jack Roslovic figures to get a promotion to the first line while Scheifele is out.

Scheifele has 29 goals and 73 points through 71 games this season.
EDGE Analysis
Scheifele and Kyle Connor are tied for the Jets' scoring lead with 73 points each. The 27-year-old is on pace for his third 80-plus-point campaign in the last four years should the NHL complete a full 82-game season. Either way, this is Scheifele's fifth straight season with at least 20 goals and 60 points.
