Sorensen was sent in a paper transaction to AHL San Jose, but was shortly recalled per the official AHL transaction log.
EDGE Analysis
The move was to make Sorensen eligible for the AHL playoffs, and a common transaction across the NHL. So far this season Sorensen has scored four goals in 21 games despite only logging 10:03 of ice time, but could see a decrease in his role with newly acquired Evander Kane taking a spot in the top six.

Sorensen was called up to the NHL and is in the lineup for Thursday's game against Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old has appeared in 18 games at the NHL level, pocketing three goals and registering a minus-5 rating. Sorenson is simply a depth forward at this point while the team is dealing with some injuries. He's not worth a roster spot in most fantasy formats.

Sorensen was demoted to AHL San Jose on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Sorensen's stint in the minors may just be a paper transaction, as the club didn't make a corresponding roster move to bolster its forward depth. The Sharks are back in action Thursday against the Golden Knights, so don't be surprised to see the winger at the game-day skate.

Sorensen was called up from AHL San Jose on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
This is basically just a trip down the hall for Sorensen, as the Sharks have the luxury of sharing the Shark Tank with their minor-league affiliate. The Swede is getting a closer look in the wake of an injury to veteran Joe Thornton, who's ailing right knee is expected to shelve him for multiple weeks, Sorensen has managed three goals on only 10 shots in the NHL this campaign, and while that's not a sustainable conversion rate, the second-year winger's confidence must be brimming in the infancy of his career.

Sorensen was loaned to AHL San Jose on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to the demotion, the Swede had appeared in the last 15 games for the Sharks, notching three goals on just 10 shots during the span. Sorensen has lit up the AHL the last two seasons combing for 48 points (22 goals, 26 assists) in 60 games, and if he keeps up similar production, he might not have a long stint in the minors.

Sorensen was recalled to San Jose on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Sorensen rarely sits out when he's called up, having played in 13 consecutive NHL games when he's on the roster. The Swedish winger has three goals in that span, while averaging 10:35 if ice time per game. Sorensen could suit up as early as Sunday against the Jets.

Sorensen was returned to AHL San Jose on Friday, Paul Gackle of the Bay Area News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sorensen's contributions have been relatively minimal during his 13-game stint with the Sharks, totaling points (all goals) over that span. He frequently floats between the two rosters, and there is a chance he returns to the Sharks later in the season, but the winger remains off the vast majority of fantasy radars.

Sorensen scored the game-winning goal Saturday against the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Sorensen has only appeared in nine games this season, but he's managed three goals. He isn't seeing much ice time on the fourth line, however, so exhibit caution before taking a chance on him. He could be sent back to the AHL at a moments notice and doesn't offer much fantasy value right now. He does have the ability to create offense, so if he does stick around, Sorensen could be worth monitoring in deeper formats.

Sorensen was promoted from AHL San Jose on Wednesday, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's not much of a surprise that Sorensen's stay in the minors lasted less than 24 hours. After all, he's posted goals in back-to-back games, and the Sharks share a rink with the top development affiliate. It's a stretch to roster a player who only averages 10:19 of ice time, but Sorensen is heating up and could make for a decent streamer in deep leagues.

Sorensen was sent back to AHL San Jose on Tuesday, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sorensen joined the Sharks in early December and has drawn into seven straight games for the Sharks. While the first five weren't very fruitful, the winger notched two goals in his last two contests with the team. Now that Joonas Donskoi is healthy and the team has the return of Logan Couture (head) and Barclay Goodrow (lower body) on the horizon, Sorensen will rejoin the AHL squad and await another recall from the bigs.
