Johansson suffered an undisclosed injury in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Avalanche, Sarah McLellan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johansson didn't play during the third period of the contest -- he ended with 9:15 of ice time without recording a stat. After the game, head coach Dean Evason had no update on Johansson's status. Consider the forward questionable at best for Sunday's game versus the Avalanche.

Johansson had a goal and an assist and was plus-2 during Thursday's 5-3 win over Los Angeles.
EDGE Analysis
The first-year Wild center broke out of a five-game point skid with a terrific opening period against the Kings. Johansson opened the scoring with a long-range wrister three-and-a-half minutes into the game, then assisted on Kirill Kaprizov's goal later in the frame. Johansson had been off to a rough start with his new club, picking up just one assist in his first seven games, so perhaps this will be the performance that gets the 30-year-old going offensively.

Johansson has produced just one goal and six shots through the first five games this season.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old was dealt to Minnesota via Buffalo this offseason in an exchange of veteran centers, and he's off to a slow start in 2021. In his last three games, Johansson has gone pointless, logging just two shots and a block over that span. Points could be coming shortly for Johansson, though, as he's averaged 2:41 of power-play time thus far.

Johansson scored a goal on four shots and added two PIM in a 4-3 overtime win over the Kings on Saturday. He also won three of four faceoffs.
EDGE Analysis
Johansson labeled a one-timer from the right faceoff dot to give the Wild the victory with just 11 seconds left in the extra session. It was the first goal in a Minnesota uniform for Johansson, who was acquired for Eric Staal in an offseason trade with Buffalo. Johansson has a pair of 20-goal seasons to his credit but slumped to nine goals and 30 points in 60 games last year with the Sabres.

The Sabres traded Johansson to the Wild in exchange for Eric Staal on Wednesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johansson had a mediocre season with Buffalo in 2019-20, notching nine goals and 30 points while posting a minus-12 rating in 60 regular-season games, but he'll provide Minnesota with a much-needed boost of speed up front in 2020-21. Plus, he was forced to play out of position at center with the Sabres, so if the Wild shift him back to his natural spot on the wing, he could have much more success next year. The 29-year-old Swede will likely slot into a top-six role while also seeing ample time on one of Minnesota's power-play units next campaign.

Johansson registered an assist and two blocked shots in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
EDGE Analysis
Johansson is up to 26 points, 79 shots and a minus-14 rating in 55 contests this year. He's picked up four points in his last seven games, a slight increase in his scoring pace recently, but probably not enough to warrant fantasy attention.

Johansson (upper body) put four shots on net and went plus-1 in 15:12 during Sunday's 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
Johansson has been dealing with an upper-body injury over the last week or so. He remains at 24 points to go with 73 shots and a minus-12 rating in 50 appearances this season. Expect the Swede to occupy a second-line role going forward.

Johansson (upper body) will return to the lineup for Sunday's game against Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old has sat out two of the past three contests with the upper-body issue but was finally cleared for action again. In his last game, Johansson recorded a goal and assist in Tuesday's win over Detroit. Now healthy, the Swede is expected to assume his usual role in the top six.

Johansson (upper body) will sit out again Thursday versus the Blue Jackets and remains day-to-day, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johansson figures to be evaluated on a game-by-game basis until he's cleared for action, but he will be forced to miss at least one contest due to an upper-body issue. While he hasn't posted one of the better years of his career in 2019-20, Johansson is coming off of a two-point effort against the Red Wings.

Johansson was absent from practice Wednesday due an upper-body injury, which could cause him to miss Thursday's matchup with Columbus, Joe Yerdon of The Athletic Buffalo reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johansson's absence was originally referred to as a maintenance day, however it appears there may be something more going on with his upper-body problem. Fortunately for the Sabres, even if the winger is unable to play, they could get both Victor Olofsson (lower body) and Kyle Okposo (upper body) back in the lineup.
