Fleury will guard the cage in Saturday's road game against the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Fleury was shaky in his last start, allowing four goals on 29 shots in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals. The veteran backstop will look to bounce back in a favorable road matchup with a struggling Red Wings team that is 7-10-3 at home this season.

Fleury saved just 25 of 29 shots during Wednesday's loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
This was a tough divisional matchup, and Fleury and the Penguins aren't going to win every game. After all, he entered the bout with five straight victories. Still, the veteran netminder has been an underwhelming contributor outside of his 13 wins because a .908 save percentage and 3.12 GAA are anchor ratios. While still a strong fantasy option for the interim, Fleury is likely to hand over the lion's share of starts to Matt Murray (lower body) once the youngster is healthy.

As expected, Fleury (illness) will start in goal Wednesday night against the Capitals, who are playing host to the contest, Sam Werner of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's all systems go for Fleury, despite how he missed Monday's practice for rest while he dealt with the illness. After a shaky start to the season -- he recorded a 3.38 GAA and .901 save save mark through his first 15 outings -- Flower has elevated his game with complementary goalie Matt Murray (lower body) injured, as he'll be chasing his sixth straight win in this next one. He's 20-11-2 with a 2.56 GAA and .914 save mark in 35 career games against the Caps.

Fleury missed Monday's practice with a maintenance day but is expected to start Wednesday. "Flower was more maintenance day, but obviously he's coming off an illness," coach Mike Sullivan said. "We thought it was best to rest him. He's got a morning skate Wednesday so he'll be fine."
EDGE Analysis
Barring some sort of setback, Fleury will play in Washington against the Capitals on Wednesday. He hasn't lost in regulation in his last eight decisions (7-0-1) but allowed five goals on 25 shots the last time he started in Washington on Nov. 16.

Fleury allowed two goals on 30 shots in a 6-2 victory over the Lightning on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
It didn't take long for the Penguins to shake off the rust of their seven-day layoff. After a scoreless first period, Pittsburgh scored six times in the final two periods, and Fleury yielded just one goal at even strength. Fleury still has a ways to go to make his overall numbers respectable due to a horrible November, but he is 5-0-0 with a .941 save percentage and 1.84 GAA since Dec. 23.

Fleury will start against the Lightning on Sunday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
He battled an illness over the past few days but has been deemed healthy enough to go against Tampa Bay. Fleury holds a 10-2-1 home record to go along with a 2.65 GAA and .923 save percentage, though he hasn't faced the Lightning yet in 2016-17.

Fleury will be the starting goaltender for Sunday's tilt against Tampa Bay, Wes Crosby of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old hasn't been great this season, posting a .909 save percentage and 3.12 GAA. However, he has been hot lately, with a .943 save percentage and 1.79 GAA in his last four games. The Lightning are just outside the Top 10 in scoring with 2.78 goals per game, so they're an above average scoring team, but a hot veteran like Fleury can certainly handle such an offensive attack.

Fleury (illness) will be available for Sunday's matchup with the Lightning, Wes Crosby of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
While coach Mike Sullivan has not named a starter against Tampa Bay, Fleury is the most likely candidate with Matt Murray (lower body) still sidelined. Since a relief appearance Dec. 22 when Murray got hurt, the Flower is undefeated, winning four consecutive games while posting a 1.79 GAA. The 32-year-old is not going to simply let his former backup walk away with the No. 1 job and will continue to push to reclaim the position he has held for over 10 years.

Fleury missed practice Friday due to illness.
EDGE Analysis
It doesn't seem like the illness is particularly serious, but it was enough to keep the goalie out of practice. He should play in Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, but if he doesn't Tristan Jarry will take over the goaltending duties.

Fleury made 37 saves in a 4-3 OT victory against the Canadiens on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Despite allowing three goals, Fleury continued his recent string of strong play, especially at PPG Paints Arena. He improved to 6-0-1 in his last seven decisions, running his home record to 10-2-1. Pittsburgh's bye week couldn't come at a worse time for the Fleury, as Matt Murray (lower body) is currently sidelined. The Pens are off until Jan. 8 and Murray could be back by then, once again clouding the goaltending situation.
