Any questions about Marc-Andre Fleury's reliability as a goaltender seems to be vanishing this season.
On Friday night, Fleury registered his league-leading 18th victory when he and the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the New Jersey Devils 3-2. Fleury, who notched his league-leading 18th win, stopped the seven shots he faced in the first period, then stopped 30 of the 32 shots he faced over the final two periods, a few of them stellar saves, prompting this from Pens star Chris Kunitz: "Our goaltender was the best player on the ice by far. He made huge saves for us. That's the only way we got a win." Fleury sure seems to be making a case for himself to be Team Canada's Olympic goalie.

Marc-Andre Fleury improved his record to 15-7-1 thanks to the Pittsburgh Penguins' 3-2 OT win against the New York Islanders on Tuesday.
While his .918 save percentage is solid but not all-world, Fleury is an elite choice in fantasy without backup pressure on one of the league's best teams.

After getting pulled for the first time this season in the previous game, Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury had help from many in bouncing back.
"Lots of assistance," Fleury said Friday after making 21 saves for his third shutout this season and 26th of his career in a 3-0 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Tampa Bay Times Forum. There was former Pens winger Andre Roy. "He was in town, and he made me laugh a lot," Fleury said. "Good time." There was former Pens goaltender Les Binkley, 79, who was at the arena and talked to Fleury a couple of hours before the game. "Very nice man," Fleury said. "He had some old pictures. It was nice to see how it was back in the day. He just told me to forget about the last [game] and go play this one hard and try my best." Finally, there were Fleury's teammates. Rather than words, they supported him with a much better game. Wednesday, the Pens blundered their way through the first half or more of a game against Toronto, with Fleury pulled in the first minute of the second period after giving up three goals on 11 shots.
