Marc-Andre Bergeron will miss his 2nd consecutive game Sunday with an upper body injury. Bergeron had 15 points in first 13 games and has registered nine points in 29 games since. Bergeron's offensive abilities have never been in dispute, but he was used principally as a power-play specialist in each of his previous two campaigns. However, the Trois-RiviŠres, Qu‚bec native has seen his ice time increase this season. He should end up with 40 points if the Lightning give him 18+ minutes per game.

Marc-Andre Bergeron (lower body) will play on Tuesday. There was some question as to whether or not Bergeron would be healthy enough to go on Tuesday, as he left practice early on Monday after suffering the injury Saturday. Keep the offensive defenseman in your lineup.

With an assist on Thursday, Marc-Andre Bergeron is currently tied for second amongst blueliners with 17 points in 18 games. We always knew Bergeron was talented offensively, but his playing time has been significantly limited over the previous two campaigns and he was sometimes used primarily as a power-play specialist. Bergeron is averaging 19:47 minutes per game this season and has long as he gets that kind of playing time, we can see him ranking high on the blueliner points list.
