Hajek finished with one shot in 20:54 of ice time during Thursday's 4-2 win over Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Hajek has just two assists in 14 games and is still looking for his first goal. He actually scored a goal during a five-game cup of coffee with the Rangers last season but was limited to only five helpers in 58 games with AHL Hartford. Hajek's not in the lineup for offense, as his smooth skating stride and 6-foot-2, 203-pound frame give the Czech blueliner the makings of a lockdown defender, and the Rangers are hoping he can grow into such a role.

Hajek picked up an assist in 12:20 of ice time in Thursday's 6-4 win over Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
Hajek looked largely overwhelmed in this one, but coach David Quinn tried to cover his weaknesses by moving Hajek onto a pairing with top defenseman Jacob Trouba in the third period. The move paid off, as Hajek made a D-to-D pass to Trouba, who then proceeded to spring Mika Zibanejad on a breakaway with a stretch pass, earning each blueliner an assist when Zibanejad converted. Hajek has great physical attributes as a smooth skater at 6-foot-2 and 203 pounds, but he still looks raw and isn't much of a threat with the puck on his stick.

Hajek (shoulder) will be in the lineup for Wednesday's preseason game against the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Hajek's missed the final 14 contests of the 2018-19 campaign due to a separated shoulder, but his inclusion in Wednesday's lineup suggests he's now back to 100 percent. The 21-year-old blueliner, who notched five helpers in 58 games with AHL Hartford last season, is fully expected to make the Rangers' Opening Night roster, but he won't have much offensive upside, so for now, there's no reason for him to be on fantasy owners' radar.

Hajek suffered a separated shoulder in Saturday's 4-2 win over New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
Hajek, 21, was only five games into his NHL career before going down with a shoulder injury in Saturday's win. The team is expected to update the young blueliner's status Sunday, but don't expect the 21-year-old in a game anytime soon.

Hajek made his NHL debut and registered a minor penalty, two shots and a hit in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Acquired in a multi-player trade with the Lightning in February of 2018, Hajek saw 17:35 of ice time and posted an impressive Corsi For percentage (61.90) in the tough home loss. Tampa Bay originally traded Anthony DeAngelo to select Hajek in the second round (37th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, but now they are teammates with New York. Hajek, a shutdown type, didn't look out of place in his NHL debut, and it's reasonable to think he'll stick around since the Rangers are well out of the playoff picture.

Hajek was promoted from AHL Hartford on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
With defenseman Brendan Smith consistently lining up at forward, the Rangers will add some depth on the blue line by bringing up Hajek. The 20-year-old has just five helpers in 58 games with the Wolf Pack this season, so he is unlikely to offer much in terms of offensive production if he cracks the Rangers lineup and makes his NHL debut.

Hajek (undisclosed) has sat out Games 5 and 6 of WHL Regina's playoff series against Swift Current.
EDGE Analysis
Hajek was hit hard in Regina's Game 4 victory, but he managed to finish the game. He has not been seen since. With Regina hosting the Memorial Cup and a lock to be competing in early May, it's possible the Pats are just being overly cautious with their best all-around defender. Game 7 between Regina and Swift Current is scheduled for Monday night. At this point there has been no indication that Hajek will be ready to go for that one.

Hajek was sent to the Rangers as part of a multi-player deal that included Ryan McDonagh and J.T. Miller heading the other way, Brett Cyrgalis of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hajek and Brett Howden were the prospects included in the deal that also saw Vladislav Namestnikov join the Rangers, as well as a first-round pick in 2018 and a conditional second-round selection. The 20-year-old Hajek has registered 25 points in 33 games for WHL Saskatoon and could join AHL Hartford following the conclusion of his junior campaign.
