Bouma scored his first point of the season Tuesday, an empty-netter in a 3-1 win against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
It's taken a little bit for the speedy forward to get back into shape after a broken fibula, but he seemed back in full form Tuesday. He had five hits and a plus-2 to go with his goal. Blocked shots and hits are more his specialty than points, so Bouma is best left off your roster for now.

Bouma has been taken off injured reserve, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bouma has been out since mid-October with a broken fibula, but it seems like his return is close. It's an outside possibility he could play Tuesday against Winnipeg, but it'll take him a few games to transition back into game shape even if he does.

Bouma (lower leg) is not expected to play during the Flames' road trip, Roger Millions of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
If Bouma does indeed miss the remainder of the road trip as expected, it would mean the earliest he could return would come next Tuesday against the Jets. However, he's apparently medically cleared to play, but still has to get into playing shape. The forward hasn't been officially ruled out, so it might be worth monitoring his situation in case he does end up returning prior to the end of the trip Sunday in Detroit.

Bouma (lower leg) will join the Flames on the team's upcoming road trip, Roger Millions of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear when exactly Bouma will return to the lineup, but traveling on the road trip certainly makes it seem as though it could be right around the corner. While his next chance comes Tuesday against the Predators, it seems like that may be a bit of a stretch. If that's the case, his next chance after that would come Thursday against the Stars.

Bouma (lower leg) won't return within the week, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is a fairly surprising update, as if Bouma is to return next week, it will be a month ahead of schedule. On Sunday, Bouma skated for the first time since breaking his leg. When Bouma suffered the injury on October 13, he was expected to be out for three months.

Bouma (lower leg) skated with the team for the first time since sustaining the injury on October 13, Kristen Odland of the Calgary Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though this is an encouraging sign for Bouma, he is still expected to miss another month. Bouma enjoyed a breakout season in 2014-15, scoring career-highs of 16 goals and 34 points.

Bouma (lower body) will miss the next three months with a broken fibula, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 reports.
EDGE Analysis
After starting his career slowly, Bouma had a breakout season last year, scoring 16 goals and adding 18 assists and a plus-10 rating for the Flames last season. In three games this year, he had no points and a minus-3 rating. The Flames have been beaten up by injuries thus far this year, and with Bouma out until 2016, things aren't getting any better on the injury front.

Bouma, who left Tuesday's game with a lower body injury, will not return.
EDGE Analysis
He was seen hobbling to the locker room with the training staff while struggling to support his weight as he left Tuesday's game. Bouma should be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Jets.

Bouma revealed Tuesday that he missed nearly a month of action late in the season due to a broken finger that required surgery, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
The center had eight screws and a plate inserted in his hand, and likely still isn't fully recovered from the injury just yet. However, Bouma was able to play in the final two games of the Flames' second-round series loss to the Ducks, and should be fine for the start of training camp with a full offseason to recover.
