While it isn't out of the question to cut ties in shallower leagues, Palmieri's 6.9 shooting percentage is likely eyeing positive regression given his career 11.7 mark.

After a bust-out season in which Palmieri set personal bests in practically every category, the Devils signed him up to a five-year deal. He's not currently getting as much exposure to Hall as you'd like, as Palmieri's skating on the second line and mostly encountering his star teammate on the power play, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see the two paired together on the top trio before too long.

After Palmieri filed for salary arbitration Tuesday, the two sides were quick to come to terms on a new deal for the burgeoning winger. A former first-round draft pick (2009), Palmieri thrived last season in his first go-around with the Devils, easily sailing to career highs in goals (30), assists (27) and power-play points (23). Those numbers look even more impressive when you consider that New Jersey finished dead last in scoring. Taylor Hall was added to the mix this offseason, providing the Devils with an impressive top line comprised of Hall, Henrique and Palmieri. Palmieri and the Devils still have throughout the arbitration process to reach an agreement on a long-term deal, something general manager Ray Shero has expressed interest in doing. In terms of fantasy, the 25-year-old should be a high value target in almost any format.
