Chipchura signed a contract with Slovan Bratislava of Russia's KHL on Monday, TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chipchura was selected 18th overall by Montreal in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, but struggled to live up to the lofty standards expected from such a high draft pick. While serving in a bottom-six role, his 2015-16 campaign with Arizona included four goals, eight assists and a minus-10 rating in 70 games.

Chipchura (personal) is expected to rejoin the team Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Chipchura was away from the team while tending to the birth of his daughter. He's expected to be back with the Coyotes Wednesday, although he's unlikely to see much ice time, as he continues to be relied upon as just a deep depth option off the bench.

Chipchura has temporarily left the team to be with his expecting wife.
EDGE Analysis
Even if he were with the team and playing, the veteran doesn't produce enough (12 points in 64 games) to be worth consideration in most fantasy leagues. He shouldn't be away from the team too long, but he's scheduled to skip out on Monday's contest at a minimum.

Chipchura registered a goal and an assist in Monday's win over the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
Chipchura failed to work his way onto the scoresheet in the first four contests of the season, but he's now tallied four points in his last four. The forward doesn't have much value in most fantasy formats though, as he's skating in a bottom-six role and hasn't topped the 20-point plateau any year in his career.

Chipchura picked up an assist Tuesday in a 3-2 loss to the Flames. He was plus-2 and added three hits and a blocked shot in the contest. Chipchura's season qualifies as a disappointment as he will fail to reach the 20-point plateau which he did last year and sits at a brutal minus-22 rating, but that's life in the desert this year. He has seen significantly more ice time with Arizona this year - 13:24 compared to 9:43 last season - as the Coyotes rebuild. As a result he has set career-highs in shots, hits, and PIM. Unfortunately, the influx of young talent that is expected to start next year may relegate Chipchura back to a lesser role or send him out of town.

Chipchura assisted on Jordan Szwarz's first-period goal in Thursday's overtime win over the Sabres. As the third-line center for the league's second-worst scoring attack, Chipchura presents very little in the form of fantasy value. The 29-year-old has 13 points and a minus-22 rating over 63 games this season.

Chipchura earned an assist in Monday's loss to the Avalanche.Chipchura has three goals on the season and only two points over his last 15 games. He's already passed through waivers unclaimed, so it's clear he's not a valued commodity around the league. Fantasy owners won't be of mind to scoop him up any time soon either.

Chipchura tallied a goal and assist in Saturday's win over the Blue Jackets. The floodgates were open throughout the night against Sergei Bobrovsky, whose uncharacteristic struggles allowed Chipchura to take advantage. In so doing, the fourth-liner broke a five-game scoring drought, but it's unlikely to portend any sort of breakout. His limited even-strength minutes and absence of a role on the power play will make points an infrequent occurrence.

Chipchura contributed his second goal of the season in Saturday's loss to the Kings. Waived by the Coyotes earlier this month, Chipchura ended up sticking around with the team after going unclaimed and continues to see regular duty on the club's fourth line. It's not a role that will yield much production, so the Coyotes will consider it a bonus any time Chipchura provides offense. Fantasy players need not pay him much attention.

Chipchura was waived by the Coyotes on Friday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports. It's not clear what motivated the Coyotes' decision to waive Chipchura, as the team already had an existing roster spot open to accommodate the impending return of David Moss (lower body) from injured reserve. Regardless, Chipchura will now be available to claim by any NHL team, though it wouldn't be surprising if he went untouched. The 28-year-old has three points and has gathered 23 PIM in 16 games this season.
