EDGE Analysis
Kaprizov got the best of veteran countryman Anton Khudobin, who was in the Stars' net for all seven goals against. The younger Russian scored Minnesota's second goal with just under five minutes remaining in the opening frame before assisting on third-period markers by Frederick Gaudreau, Mats Zuccarello and Victor Rask. All in all, Kaprizov's up to four goals and 15 points through 16 games in his sophomore season stateside.

Kaprizov scored a power-play goal in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Through four games in November, Kaprizov has picked up all three of his goals this year and added one assist. The Russian winger is up to 10 points, 42 shots on net, 13 hits and a minus-3 rating in 12 appearances. Kaprizov hasn't taken a step forward from his pace last year, but he's still producing enough offense to remain a fixture in fantasy lineups.

Kaprizov scored a goal and added an assist Saturday in a 5-4 SO win over the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
He also scored a shootout goal, if your format counts that obscure stat. Kaprizov has two straight two-point games and 10 points (two goals, eight helpers) in 10 games this season. He has picked up where he left off last season in terms of overall points, but he only has two goals total. Kaprizov's shooting percentage is just 5.4, which is horrendous compared to his 17.2 last season. That rate from 2020-21 is quite high and he's early in his NHL career, so we don't know where he will settle over time. But Kaprizov is better than a 5.4, so expect some goals to fly in shortly.

He's been quite the playmaker to start 2021-22, distributing five helpers to go with seven shots on net, five hits and a plus-3 rating in three contests. He'll try to bury a goal of his own Saturday versus the Ducks.

EDGE Analysis
Kaprizov didn't disappoint in his first season moving over from the KHL to the NHL, averaging nearly a point per contest en route to 51 points -- 27 goals and 24 assists -- over 55 games. Kaprizov will not be available for the start of training camp due to his ongoing contract dispute, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kaprizov remains unsigned ahead of the start of the 2021-22 campaign, which means he is still back in his native Russia until he pens a new contract. The prospect of the 24-year-old winger signing in the KHL remains a possibility. In 55 games last year, Kaprizov racked up 27 goals and 24 assists on his way to a Calder Trophy and should continue to rack up points if he returns for his sophomore campaign.
