Gravel is slated to suit up against the Golden Knights in Friday's Game 2 contest, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gravel has appeared in just two of the Kings' previous 30 outings and is only cracking the lineup because of the absence of Jake Muzzin (upper body) and Drew Doughty (suspension). The 25-year-old Gravel will almost certainly find himself relegated to the press box again once Doughty's one-game ban is served.

The Kings recalled Gravel from AHL Ontario on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Jake Muzzin (undisclosed) is still on injured reserve, so Gravel will round out the Kings' depth at defense until Muzzin is cleared to play. The 25-year-old American has notched three goals and 11 points in 25 games with AHL Ontario this campaign.

Gravel was assigned to AHL Ontario on Sunday, Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gravel was called up Dec. 27 and played in three games this stint, posting one assist and firing four shots on goal. He averaged just 12:49 of ice time per game, but Gravel was deployed occasionally with the man advantage. Look for him to possibly be called back up when the Kings six-day bye week is finished Jan. 13.

Gravel was recalled from AHL Ontario on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
This will mark Gravel's second stint in the NHL this season, having failed to crack the lineup during his previous promotion. If he does play this time around -- which seems like a long shot -- it would mark the blueliner's 2017-18 debut after logging 49 games for the Kings in 2016-17. The St. Cloud State product will almost certainly head back to the minors once Christian Folin (lower body) is given the green light.

The Kings recalled Gravel from AHL Ontario on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Kings only had six healthy defensemen on their roster prior to Gravel's promotion, so he'll likely round out the team's depth at defense until Christian Folin (lower body) is activated from injured reserve. The 25-year-old blueliner has notched three goals and nine points with AHL Ontario this campaign.

Gravel inked a one-year, $650,000 contract extension with the Kings on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Gravel filed for arbitration July 5, but he and the Kings will no longer need to participate in a hearing after striking a new deal for the 2017-18 campaign Friday. The 25-year-old blueliner appeared in 49 games with LA last season, notching seven points (one goal, six assists) while registering a plus-3 rating and 52 shots on goal over that span. The 2010 fifth-round pick likely won't produce enough offensively next season to be a viable option in most season-long fantasy formats, but he could see his role increased by establishing himself as a permanent fixture on the Kings' bottom pairing.

Gravel will file for arbitration, Josh Rosen of Fox Sports West Rinkside reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gravel is coming off his second season in the NHL, where he played in 49 games for the Kings and tallied seven points, 73 hits and 65 blocked shots. After being extended a qualifying offer, Gravel wasn't necessarily on board with the details and will instead elect for arbitration. A hearing should be scheduled for late July, although the two sides can continue to communicate with the hope of hammering out a deal prior to it.

Gravel has recorded just two assists in 30 games since being recalled from the AHL in early November.
EDGE Analysis
Gravel hasn't leveraged his consistent playing time into any meaningful fantasy production to date but it should be noted that he's logged time on the Kings' second power play unit over his last dozen games so he could be a sneaky option for those desperate for help in daily formats on a light night.

Gravel was called up Thursday from AHL Ontario, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gravel has yet to play for the Kings this season, but the NHL Department of Player Safety is discussing a suspension to Tom Gilbert which would require Gravel to slot into the lineup Thursday. Through six minor league games this year, the defenseman has a pair of helpers, six shots on goal, and a minus-2 rating. Even if he were to stick around long-term, it might be too early for owners to consider picking up the 24-year-old.

Gravel was reassigned to AHL Ontario following the Kings' exit from the playoffs, Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gravel didn't see any action for the Kings in their first round loss to the Sharks. He'll finish the season in the AHL playoffs.
