Bieksa (lower body) will not suit up for Friday's Game 5 against Edmonton, Helene Elliott of the LA Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bieksa has not played since he was knocked out of commission in the first game of the current series, and it's unclear at this point when he'll be ready to return. Shea Theodore and Brandon Montour are likely to continue drawing into the lineup with Bieksa still ailing.

Bieksa (lower body) will not suit up for Wednesday's Game 3 in Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
Bieksa will sit out for a third straight contest and will probably need to get at least one full practice in before he's cleared to return to action. On the bright side, he is skating in a limited fashion again, so he'll set his sights for Friday's Game 5 when the Ducks return to Anaheim in what could be an elimination game.

Bieksa (lower body) hit the ice for the first time since suffering this lower-body injury, Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
This news certainly puts Bieksa's availability against the Oilers on Wednesday in question as it would seem he is still pretty far away from game readiness. In the postseason, the blueliner has four points in five games and would bolster the Ducks' blue line scoring if he can get back onto the ice. Until the 25-year-old is given the all clear, Sami Vatanen will continue to fill in on the game-day lineup.

Bieksa (lower body) is a scratch for Sunday's second-round contest in Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
Bieksa will miss his second consecutive game Sunday after posting four points during the first-round series against Calgary. Sami Vatanen (upper body) will draw into lineup to replace Bieksa on Sunday.

Bieksa (lower body) traveled with the team to Edmonton in advance of Sunday's Game 3, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bieksa isn't expected to rejoin the lineup until late in the second round at the earliest, leaving him doubtful at best for the tilt. The fact that he joined the team on the road at least provides and encouraging sign, but it doesn't necessarily mean he's an option for Game 3. While an official designation will likely be released ahead of puck drop, it seems pretty safe to avoid him in daily contests that with lineups locking in the earlier of Sunday's two games.

Bieksa (lower body) may miss the rest of the Ducks' second-round series against the Oilers, Elliott Teaford of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bieksa was fantastic in Anaheim's opening-round series against Calgary, notching four assists while registering a plus-5 rating over four games, so it'll be a huge loss if he's unable to heal up in time to participate in the Ducks' second-round matchup with the Oilers. The veteran blueliner should be considered iffy at best for Game 3, but his status for that contest will be confirmed prior to puck drop Sunday evening.

Bieksa (lower body) will miss Friday night's Game 2 against the Oilers, but coach Randy Carlyle said he could be available later in the series.
EDGE Analysis
Bieksa will sit for just the second time all season and it's especially a shame because he was a major contributor in the Ducks' first-round sweep of Flames -- the blueliner recorded four assists and a plus-5 rating while averaging 19:07 of ice time in that series. While there's been no confirmation that Sami Vatanen (upper body) will be able to fill Bieksa's spot in the lineup Friday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports that Carlyle sounded upbeat on the prospect of his availability.

Bieksa is considered doubtful for Game 2 against the Oilers due to a lower-body injury and will undergo a full assessment of the injury Friday.
EDGE Analysis
It seemed likely that Bieksa's injury was a bit more serious when he wasn't able to finish Wednesday's loss to the Oilers after attempting to return. Hopefully we'll get some more details on the ailment once team doctors give the 35-year-old a proper evaluation, but for now he shouldn't be counted on to play Friday's contest.

Bieksa left Wednesday's Game 1 against the Oilers with an apparent leg injury, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bieksa appeared to sustain the injury when he collided with Shea Theodore in the first period of Wednesday's contest, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports. The veteran blueliner later returned to the ice for a few shifts, but he didn't log any ice time during the second half of the second period, and he wasn't on Anaheim's bench for the start of the third period. The Ducks should release an update on Bieksa's status in the coming days, but if he's unavailable for Friday's tilt, Korbinian Holzer or Sami Vatanen will likely draw into the lineup for Game 2.

Bieksa garnered a pair of helpers in a 5-4 overtime victory in Game 3 over the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
The normally stay-at-home rearguard has hit the scoresheet in each game of the series. Bieksa has been productive from a fantasy standpoint in the first three games against Calgary, amassing six blocked shots, five hits, five shots, nine PIM and a plus-3 rating in addition to four assists. With that in mind, he might be a wise selection for daily formats when the puck drops for Game 4 on Wednesday.
