Agostino was recalled from AHL Providence on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Last season's AHL top scorer started 2017-18 with a bang in Providence, posting a whopping seven points in three games. While the Bruins had at most 11 healthy forwards before the recall, Agostino may have gotten a look in the lineup anyway, due to the under-performance of fellow wingers like Matt Beleskey, Frank Vatrano, and Anders Bjork. Wednesday's practice will give a better indication as to whether or not Agostino will make his Bruins debut Thursday against Vancouver.

Agostino has been placed on waivers by the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Agostino is coming off a stellar AHL season, but he wasn't able to secure a roster spot in crowded Bruins' forward corps out of training camp. It remains to be seen if another team claims the 25-year-old, but if Agostino isn't scooped up, he'd presumably land in AHL Providence, where he'd be a candidate for an in-season call-up.

Agostino (upper body) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
The Yale product was forced to miss Monday's preseason win over Chicago due to the injury, but appears to have recovered in time for Boston's final two preseason games. Last year's AHL leading scorer with 83 points in 65 games, Agostino is a late-bloomer who has a realistic shot at making the Opening Night roster while competing against the likes of Jake DeBrusk, Danton Heinen, and Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson.

Agostino is dealing with an upper-body injury and did not play in Monday's preseason game against Chicago, CSN New England reports.
EDGE Analysis
Agostino reportedly suffered the injury in a game last Thursday against Philadelphia in which he actually scored the game-winning goal in overtime. The severity of the issue is unknown at this point, but given his status as last year's AHL scoring champion (83 points in 65 games with AHL Chicago) and MVP, Agostino should have a solid shot at cracking the Bruins' Opening Night roster -- as long as he's healthy. That said, this is one player worth keeping tabs on in advance of the team's Oct. 5 season opener against Nashville.

Agostino cashed in on a breakaway with 1:40 left in overtime to propel the Bruins to a 2-1 preseason win over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
Agostino, last season's AHL scoring leader and MVP, also notched an assist Thursday on Paul Postma's game-tying tally. The 6-foot, 202-pounder has received less ink than some of the Bruins' young forwards who are challenging for jobs with the big club, but the 25-year-old Yale product definitely helped his cause with his impact in Thursday's win. The 2010 fifth-rounder has 17 NHL games to his credit to date, having recorded two goals and five points in that span.

Agostino signed a one-year, one-way contract extension with the Blues on Saturday, Joe Haggerty of CSNNE.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Penguins originally drafted Agostino with a fifth-round pick in 2010. He never touched NHL ice with the Pens, but was heavily deployed in the minor-league systems associated with the Flames and Blues. He's an organizational depth option at this juncture, albeit one who's shown he can at least hold his own at hockey's highest level when given the chance -- five points in 17 games. His new one-way contract stipulates that he won't be assigned to the AHL unless the Blues happen to waive him.

Agostino was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Agostino did not get the opportunity to suit up during this stint with the big club and will likely finish the season in the minors barring another injury to one of St. Louis' core. He'll be worth a look next season if he can make the big club roster at the beginning of the campaign.

Agostino was recalled from AHL Chicago under emergency conditions Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old forward played seven NHL games earlier this season, recording one goal and two assists. Agostino leads the AHL this season with 22 goals and 57 assists through 63 games. The Blues are struggling with injuries deep in the lineup, so it'll be interesting to see if he'll make the rotation or just serve as relief if another injury occurs.

Agostino was assigned to Chicago of the AHL on Saturday, FOX Sports Midwest reports.
EDGE Analysis
Agostino is the AHL leader with 60 points, including 42 assists, through 48 games with the team's minor-league affiliate this season. He definitely has a nose for the goal, but it might be a while before he is in the Gateway City to stay. Agostino isn't a bad stash option in deeper dynasty formats if you have the roster flexibility.

Agostino had an assist, five shots on goal, a blocked shot and two hits over 12:46 of ice time in the Blues' 6-0 win over the Senators on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Agostino led the Blues in shots for the second straight game since being called up from AHL Chicago over the weekend. He was the Wolves' leading scorer at the time of his callup and now has points in two straight at the NHL level. He's on a line with Jori Lehtera and David Perron, two of the team's more inconsistent producers this season, but each capable of creating scoring chances.
