Lehtonen stopped 26 shots in a 7-1 win over the Sabres on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The back-up has won four of his last five starts and allowed two or fewer goals in each of those four wins. But with Ben Bishop entrenched as the starter in Texas, Lehtonen's starts will be few and far between.

Lehtonen will be in goal for Saturday's matchup with the Sabres, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtonen has seen time between the pipes just once in the last month, but that was a 30-save win over the Bruins on Monday. It appears that nice outing has bought him another opportunity between the pipes Saturday, when he will square off against a Sabres club averaging 2.50 goals per game in January.

Lehtonen stopped 30 of 32 shots in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Staked to a 2-0 lead early in the second period, Lehtonen let Boston back into the game before standing tall down the stretch and watching Tyler Seguin pot the winner in extra time. It's the 34-year-old's first win over a month, but regular starts will be hard to come by for Lehtonen as long as Ben Bishop is healthy and playing well.

Lehtonen will man the crease for Monday's game in Boston, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
It will be Lehtonen's first in-game action since giving up four goals in a loss to the Devils on Dec. 15. The game Monday will be the first night of a back-to-back, with Ben Bishop getting the start for Tuesday's contest. Lehtonen has been a decent No. 2 goalie this year, but a matchup against the red-hot Bruins doesn't look too promising.

Lehtonen saved just 21 of 25 shots during Friday's 5-2 loss to New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran Finn entered with a .930 save percentage and 1.94 GAA through his previous five outings, and with Taylor Hall (knee) out of action, this was a ripe spot for another solid showing. Unfortunately for those who extended their confidence with Lehtonen, he posted a stinker. Ben Bishop is starting against the Flyers on Saturday, and he should return to more of a workhorse role over the coming weeks.

Lehtonen will be in the cage for Friday's contest against New Jersey, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
After three lackluster seasons that saw Lehtonen fail to keep his goals-against average below 2.75 and post a collective save percentage of .904, the Finnish netminder has enjoyed a revitalization under new bench boss Ken Hitchcock. In 2017-18, Lehtonen owns a 2.44 GAA and .913 save percentage, and his improved play has increasingly won the trust of Hitchcock, who's now selected Lehtonen to start in three straight games. In his past two starts, the former Thrasher recorded a 1.44 GAA and .949 save percentage while picking up a win in both outings.

Lehtonen stopped 34 of 36 shots in a 5-2 win over the Islanders on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtonen has been brilliant in December when he's started the game. In five games in December, he's posted no lower than a .923 save percentage in the four games he started and had a mere .882 save percentage when he came off the bench. Lehtonen likely won't be the starter for long, but he can be a viable option on your roster when he does start.

Lehtonen will get the starting nod against the Islanders on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
After a solid one-goal outing versus the Rangers on Tuesday, coach Ken Hitchcock will continue to roll out Lehtonen on the road against the New York teams. For his career, the netminder is 7-6-1 with a 3.67 GAA versus the Isles -- not exactly the best track record. Ben Bishop's recent struggles -- allowing seven goals in a pair of defeats -- likely factored into the decision to stick with Lehtonen.

Lehtonen saved 24 of 25 shots and two of three shootout attempts during Monday's 2-1 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
This was a solid road showing from Lehtonen, and he now sports a 4-4-1 record, .909 save percentage and 2.49 GAA for the campaign. Ben Bishop returned to action Sunday after a brief absence due to a back injury, so Lehtonen's starting opportunities are likely to return to being few and far between. However, it doesn't mean the veteran Finn should be ignored as a streaming candidate or option for daily contests when patrolling the blue paint against favorable opponents.

Lehtonen will get the starting nod for Monday's road showdown against the Rangers, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtonen has been a solid No. 2 option for the Stars this season, with a 2.71 GAA and .903 save percentage despite the 3-4-1 record. The 6-foot-4 netminder picked up a victory over the Blues in his last start, giving up just two goals on 26 shots.
