Faulk (undisclosed) will not suit up Thursday against the Lightning, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Faulk was scratched just before Thursday's contest with Tampa Bay and it's unclear why he's not playing. An update on his status could be available after the game. Niko Mikkola is expected to replace him in the lineup.

Faulk scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Monday's 5-2 win over the Golden Knights.
EDGE Analysis
Both points came in the first period as the Blues rallied from an early 2-0 deficit. The performance broke Faulk out of a slump that has seen him manage only one helper in his prior 15 games, not a surprising drought considering the 29-year-old hasn't reached 40 points in a season since 2014-15.

Faulk posted four hits and three blocked shots across 24:22 of ice time in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Faulk notched two points in each of the first two games this season, but he has gone pointless in seven straight games while firing 13 total shots on net. Still, the 29-year-old is taking on a hefty role with the Blues, ranking second on the team with 22:43 of ice time per game. The points should come around soon. After all, he posted 25 through 56 games last year.

Faulk scored a power-play goal on three shots, dished an assist and went plus-3 in Monday's 7-4 win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Faulk has found great form to start 2021-22 with a pair of multi-point efforts in the first two games. He was a key part of the Blues' five-goal rally in the second period Monday. The defenseman won't score at such a lofty pace all year, but his plus physicality and steady defense gives him a safe floor for fantasy managers needing a third or fourth blueliner.

Faulk scored a goal on five shots and added a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Faulk needed just 4:12 into the game to get the Blues on the board. He added the secondary helper on David Perron's third-period marker, which stood as the game-winner. Faulk put up a respectable 25 points, 117 shots on goal, 127 hits and 87 blocked shots in 56 outings last season. His offense isn't elite, but his all-around game translates well to fantasy formats that reward physical and defensive play.

Faulk has fully recovered from the upper-body injury that kept him out of Games 3 and 4 of the Blues' first-round series versus the Avalanche, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Faulk was pretty productive for the Blues in 2020-21, picking up seven goals, 18 helpers, 117 shots and 127 blocks while averaging a whopping 24:16 of ice time through 56 contests The 29-year-old blueliner should once again see top-four usage as well as regular power-play time with St. Louis in 2021-22.

Faulk (upper body) won't play in Sunday's Game 4 against the Avalanche, per coach Craig Berube, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Faulk was viewed as doubtful heading into this game, so it's no surprise that he'll continue to sit out due to the vicious hit he took from Nazem Kadri in Game 2. The blueliner's next opportunity to rejoin the lineup will either come in Game 5 on Tuesday or he will need to wait until next season, depending on whether or not the Blues are able to extend the series with a Game 4 win.

Faulk (upper body) is considered doubtful for Sunday's Game 4 against the Avalanche, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Faulk will almost certainly miss a second straight contest with his upper-body issue. Steve Santini will likely continue to occupy a bottom-pairing role until Faulk or Robert Bortuzzo (upper body) is ready to return.

Faulk (upper body) won't play in Friday's Game 3 versus the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Faulk exited Wednesday's Game 2 loss after taking a headshot from Colorado's Nazem Kadri and he could be facing an extended absence. Either way, check back for another update on his status prior to Sunday's Game 4.

Faulk (upper body) left Wednesday's Game 2 versus the Avalanche after a headshot from Nazem Kadri and did not return. Head coach Craig Berube did not have an update on Faulk's status after the game.
EDGE Analysis
Faulk was caught up high by Kadri in the third period and the Blues' defenseman immediately retreated to the locker room. Until more information is available, Faulk should be considered day-to-day, but it's plausible he ends up missing time with the injury. Robert Bortuzzo (upper body) also left Wednesday's contest -- Steve Santini or Vince Dunn (upper body) could be candidates to enter the lineup in Faulk's absence.
