Based on this report, Danforth will still watch on from the press box for the evening clash against the Kraken, but the Blue Jackets undoubtedly will appreciate having the extra depth up front given that Nathan Gerbe (hip), Emil Bemstrom (oblique) and Trey Fix-Wolansky (knee) are all out of commission with their respective injuries. Danforth is fresh off his first KHL campaign having deposited 23 goals and 32 assists for a Russian team called Podolsk Vityaz.
