Anderson scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers. He added two hits and a five-minute fighting major.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson hit the scoresheet for the second straight game. He finished off the game's scoring by banging home a rebound of a Christian Dvorak shot in the third period, 22 seconds after New York made it 3-1. It was the forward's fourth goal and eighth point of the season. Anderson later engaged with Jacob Trouba as the horn sounded to end the game for his first fighting major of the season.

Anderson recorded an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and two PIM in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson helped out on a Michael Pezzetta goal in the second period. The 27-year-old Anderson snapped his five-game point drought with the assist. The winger is up to seven points, 42 shots on net, 41 hits, six PIM and a minus-12 rating. While he's played in a top-six role, Anderson hasn't made a convincing case to stay there if head coach Dominique Ducharme shuffles his lines.

Anderson is dealing with a non-COVID-19 illness and is questionable to play Tuesday against visiting Los Angeles.
EDGE Analysis
Despite spending time in the top six and averaging 2:40 of power-play duty, Anderson has managed just six points in 13 games this year -- including one in his last four. Further information on his availability for Tuesday's game will surface during pregame warmup around 6:30 p.m. EST.

Anderson had a goal on six shots with one hit and one blocked shot in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson took a feed from Nick Suzuki in stride in the neutral zone, made a beeline to the goal, and beat Detroit's Alex Nedeljkovic far side for his third goal in four games. Like most of the Canadiens, Anderson started the season in search of his offense, but he's come on over the last week with five points over the last four games. Suzuki's line, with Anderson and Brendan Gallagher on the wings, produced all three markers.

Anderson scored a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Kings.

Anderson scored an empty-net goal on three shots, dished an assist and added two hits in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson hasn't had a great start to 2021-22, as this was his first multi-point effort. It's in stark contrast to last year, when he racked up 12 points in the first 19 games. The winger has three points, 19 shots, 22 hits and a minus-4 rating through eight contests so far, but the Canadiens have struggled as a team and he'll likely continue to play in the top six.

Anderson had one assist, two shots, three hits and a minor penalty in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson corralled a loose puck off a turnover at center ice and patiently led a two-on-one break that resulted in a Jonathan Drouin goal that gave Montreal a 1-0 lead. The second-line forward will be counted on to be a top scorer for the Canadiens, but he needs to smooth out the peaks and valleys of his point production. After registering 12 points in his first 19 contests for the Habs in 2020, he fell off to 12 points over the final 33 games.

Anderson scored twice, with his second goal handing the Lightning a 3-2 overtime loss in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson really made his modest 13:16 of ice time count in this one, lifting the Canadiens to their first win of the series. The pair of tallies snapped a four-game point drought for the 27-year-old, who now has just six points (five of which have been goals) in 21 postseason games.

Anderson provided eight hits, two shots and one block in Monday night's 5-1 loss to Tampa Bay in Game 1.
EDGE Analysis
The Habs laid down the body in Game 1, with the team notching 58 hits in the contest and eight coming from Anderson. The 27-year-old has had a less than stellar postseason with just four points in 18 games but has provided 76 hits and 39 shots during that same stretch. Anderson and the Habs will need to provide more offense in Game 2 Wednesday night when they look to even the series against the Bolts.
