Toews netted a shorthanded goal and added an even-strength marker in Friday's loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
That's four goals in four games for Toews, who has fired 28 shots on goal through 11 games thus far. Toews only has seven points on the season, but he's heating up and has come through in the clutch with two game-winning goals. You know what to do.

Toews netted another game-winning overtime tally in Monday's win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Toews went his first seven games without finding the back of the net, but he's now scored the only goal in back-to-back 1-0 overtime wins over the Lightning and Ducks. After getting off to a bit of a slow start (for him) the captain appears to be back on track.

Toews scored his first goal of the season -- the game-winner in overtime -- in Thursday's 1-0 win against the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
The Blackhawks captain made a nice move to get around Valtteri Filppula and smacked in his own rebound to seal the win. Toews had gone seven games without a goal to start the season, but he always manages to score in a big spot. If you have Toews on your roster, you can breathe a sigh of relief. Chicago has won three in a row and this should get Toews going.

Toews scored a pair of goals in Saturday's Game 7 win over the Ducks. Another clutch performance from Toews, who always seems to deliver when it matters most. The 27-year-old captain, who is the first player in NHL history to record multi-goal games in Game 5 and 7 on the road, will be competing in the Stanley Cup Final for the third time in seven years. With a whopping nine goals and 18 points this postseason, the clutch performer is considered an early Conn Smythe favorite and can be expected to come through once again in the Stanley Cup Final against Tampa Bay.

Toews potted a pair of goals in Monday's Game 5 loss to the Ducks. Toews temporarily appeared as though he'd be the hero for Chicago as he scored two goals in the final two minutes to force overtime, but the Ducks ended up pulling through less than a minute into the extra period. He's now up to 16 points (seven goals) through 15 playoff games.

Toews recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's Game 4 victory over the Ducks. The physical Ryan Kesler has been a nuisance for Toews all series, but the Blackhawks center finally got the better of his adversary in Game 4. He notched his first goal of the series at the 2:38 mark of the third period, then captured a secondary assist on Brent Seabrook's marker exactly five minutes later. He's now averaging a point per game in the playoffs, tallying five goals and nine assists across 14 contests.

Toews picked up a secondary assist on the man advantage in Tuesday's Game 2, triple overtime win over the Ducks. Toews has 12 points in as many games this postseason, and his four goals and eight assists have been attributed only to games resulting in a Blackhawks' victory. He'll look to carry the positive momentum into Thursday's Game 3 in Chicago.

Toews ended what had been a quiet series against Minnesota by posting two assists -- one on the power play, one on a shorthanded empty-netter -- and two penalty minutes Thursday in a sweep-completing 4-3 victory. The first three games of the series yielded just a single point (a shorthanded goal) for Toews, but he got back at it Thursday and has now compiled 11 points in 10 playoff games this year. With the way they're scoring in this postseason, Toews and Patrick Kane look determined to lead the Blackhawks to another Stanley Cup. They'll have to go through either Anaheim or Calgary, though, before they get a chance to play the Eastern Conference champs for the Cup.
