The veteran has struggled in his last five outings, losing every contest and posting a 3.27 GAA and .889 save percentage during the span. Regardless, Quick still sports a .924 save percentage on the season, and with the Rangers on their heels after they only posted one goal in a contest against Colorado on Saturday, the 32-year-old will look to snap his losing streak at home.

Quick saved 29 of 31 shots during Friday's 2-1 loss to Anaheim on Friday.

Considering Quick played against Pittsburgh on Thursday, this checks out as an even more impressive showing. However, it's definitely worth reminding that the American has now lost five consecutive games with an underwhelming .888 save percentage. Fantasy owners probably shouldn't overreact to his recent struggles, but if the trend continues, it will be a huge blow to Quick's value over the final months of the season. Additionally, when taking a critical look at the Los Angeles roster, it's not out of the question to suggest the Kings overachieved to start the year.

Quick led the Kings out to the ice for pregame warmups Friday night, Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register reports. This means he's shaping up to face the Ducks on the road to complete a back-to-back set of games.

Wow. Kings coach John Stevens has thrown a curveball in the direction of fantasy players by electing to stick with Quick, even though the American backstop suffered a 3-1 loss to the Penguins on Thursday night, and has just one win in five starts this early in 2018. He'll reportedly be countered by John Gibson for what promises to be an intense battle between the rival clubs.

Quick turned away 28 of 31 shots in Thursday's loss to Pittsburgh.

It was the fourth straight loss for Quick, who is failing to steal games for a slumping Los Angeles squad. Quick remains a top-tier fantasy goaltender, so just ride out this slump and look for him to get back on track soon.

The Quack Attack isn't very intimidating, however, with the Ducks ranking 25th in scoring (2.67 goals per game) and 30th in shots (29.5), so we like Quick's chances of pinning down win No. 20 on the season.

Quick will patrol the crease Saturday against the Predators, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Quick will look to keep a stagnant Predators offense from heating up. The Predators have scored just eight goals in five games and capitalized on just two of 17 power-play chances in that span. Since the calendar flip, Quick posted a shutout against the Oilers on Jan. 2, but he came back two nights later to allow four goals on 41 shots for a loss to Calgary. This inconsistency is troubling, but the Preds' current state could make this a favorable matchup.

Quick's 37 saves weren't enough in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Flames.
