Quick will guard the home goal Thursday versus the Blackhawks, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quick is coming off of a 21-save shutout win over the Wild in his previous start. He hasn't lost in regulation in his last four starts, allowing just seven goals in that span. The Blackhawks have averaged only 2.83 goals per game this season, so this is a favorable matchup for Quick to keep things rolling.

Quick posted a 21-save shutout in Tuesday's 1-0 win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Quick earned his 57th career shutout on thin margins, as it took until 13:57 of the third period for either team to get a goal. Gabriel Vilardi's tally was all Quick needed to get the win, his third in his last four starts. The 36-year-old netminder improved to 5-4-1 with a 3.02 GAA and an .897 save percentage, but with eight goals allowed in his last four games, he's trending in the right direction. The Kings host the Blackhawks on Thursday -- if Quick starts, it would be a season-high fourth straight start for him.

Quick will guard the home goal Tuesday versus the Wild, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Quick will look to earn consecutive wins for the first time this season. He held off the Panthers with 34 saves on 38 shots in his previous start. Quick has struggled to a 3.34 GAA and an .890 save percentage in 10 outings so far, and the Wild's strong top-six forward group could present him another challenging outing.

Quick turned aside 34 shots during a 5-4 victory over the Panthers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
In a game highlighted by alternating goals, Quick came up big during Saturday's final moments. Well, the goalposts did, anyway. With the Panthers pressuring with an extra attacker, two shots struck goalposts and deflected harmlessly away. Quick (4-4-1) overcame the third-period surge to help snap the Kings' two-game losing streak.

Quick was first off the ice, according to Austin Stanovich of LA Hockey Now, indicating he will defend the home cage against Florida on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Quick is 3-4-1 with a 3.26 GAA and an ,889 save percentage, but he has played better of late, giving up three goals on 47 shots over his last two games. Quick will have his hands full against the Panthers, who are 6-4-1 and have averaged 3.10 goals per game this season.

Quick turned aside 17 shots during a 2-1 overtime loss to the Blackhawks on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Quick probably didn't count on being too busy, as the Blackhawks entered Thursday ranked No. 31 in shots per game (25.7). On Thursday, Quick (3-5-0) faced just 19 shots, but the overtime winner by Jonathan Toews developed off a turnover in front of his net. The Kings, who have dominated the Blackhawks recently, fell to 6-1-2 in their past nine matchups.

Per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site, Quick was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate, indicating he'll start between the pipes in Thursday's road game versus the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Quick was excellent in his last start Monday against the Blues, turning aside 27 of 28 shots en route to an easy 5-1 victory. He'll try to secure a second straight win in a road matchup with a struggling Chicago team that's lost four straight games.

Quick allowed one goal on 28 shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Quick had plenty of help, as the Kings scored the first five goals of the game. The 36-year-old was able to cruise from there to earn his third win of the year in confident fashion. He's now 3-4-0 in eight appearances (seven starts) while adding a 3.44 GAA and an .888 save percentage. Cal Petersen also won his last start 4-2 over the Maple Leafs, so both of the Kings' goalies appear to be working out of their early struggles. Look for Petersen to start Tuesday in Dallas.

Quick was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports, indicating he will start Monday's road game against St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Quick gave up five goals on 18 shots in a 6-4 loss to Winnipeg on Thursday during his last appearance. He will face a Blues team that has lost four games in a row going into Monday night's action. Quick has a 2-4-0 record this year with a 3.81 GAA and an .878 save percentage through seven games played.

Quick allowed five goals on 18 shots in Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Jets. The sixth goal was an empty-netter.
EDGE Analysis
The Kings outshot the Jets 44-19, but Quick's poor performance in goal torpedoed the offense's productivity. The five goals allowed were a season high despite a season-low shot total against the 36-year-old. He now has a 2-4-0 record with a 3.81 GAA and an .878 save percentage. Quick's poor performances are still marginally better than Cal Petersen has shown in three starts. The Kings' goaltending is not a strength right now, and a Saturday matchup with the high-powered Maple Leafs may be one best avoided by fantasy managers rostering either Quick or Petersen.
