***IN THE SLOT*** A RECAP OF THE NHL NIGHT IN STANLEY CUP ACTION Homecoming Kings New Jersey Devils 0 - Los Angeles Kings 4: The Devils had their chance early in the game when they had a 5-on-3 power play opportunity but G Jonathan Quick made some spectacular saves to keep the Devils off the score sheet. New Jersey didn't play much of a desperation game after that by only getting a total of 22 SOG against the Kings netminder. Quick earned his 3rd shutout of these playoffs and will be considered an elite goaltender going forward in all fantasy camps. Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams each had a goal and an assist making them the offensive stars of the game but it clearly was the play of Quick that has the Kings on the brink of their first Stanley Cup championship. Game 4 Wednesday night.

***IN THE SLOT*** A FANTASY RECAP OF THE NHL NIGHT IN PLAYOFF ACTION RIDE, CAPTAIN RIDE PHOENIX COYOTES 2 - LOS ANGELES KINGS 0: Captain Shane Doan made sure that the Coyotes were going back to the desert as he scored both goals to stave off elimination. Being down three games to none, it sure looked bleak for the Coyotes but Doan led his team and gave G Mike Smith (36 saves) the support he needed to head back to Arizona for game 5. Phoenix only had 21 shots against G Jonathan Quick but it was enough as they solved the KIngs at least for one game. Look for a spirited game between these two teams as the Kings are sure to want to put an end to this while the Coyotes are fighting for their playoff lives.

***IN THE SLOT***FANTASY RECAP OF THE PLAYOFF NIGHT IN ACTION LOS ANGELES 4- PHOENIX 0: Jeff Carter spoiled the party for the Coyotes in Game 2, where he scored a "natural hat trick", and Jonathan Quick resumed his flawless play in the crease with a 25-save shutout. Carter's feat hasn't been accomplished by a Kings' player in the postseason since Wayne Gretzky in 1993. Meanwhile, Quick's third career playoff shutout tied him with Felix Potvin for the team lead. Obviously, Carter and Quick were the two-man wrecking crew that has given the Kings a commanding 2-0 lead heading back home. MORE DAILY PRIME TO COME LATER...
