Gibson will defend the twine Wednesday against the Penguins, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has been tremendous in the net recently, allowing two goals or fewer in five of his last seven starts and no more than three goals, compiling a 1.71 GAA and a .938 save percentage over that span. With Matt Murray (personal) away from the team, he will likely square off against Tristan Jarry in net Wednesday.

Gibson allowed two goals on 25 shots in a 4-2 victory over the Kings on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old has been nearly as good at stopping pucks coming his way -- his save percentage is almost the same as last season -- but Gibson's GAA has increased by almost half a goal per game from 2016-17, and his record is just a game above .500 after this victory. In the last seven games, he has posted a .938 save percentage, but he's just 4-2-1 during that stretch. At least Gibson is starting to play better, but he needs more consistent help to win games like Saturday.

Gibson was first off the ice at morning skate Saturday, thus he'll work between the pipes as the evening's road starter against the Kings, Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anaheim's primary puck stopper typically thrives against the divisional foe, as evidenced by his 6-3-0 record, 1.94 GAA and .932 save percentage over 10 career appearances against the royal club. Still, this shouldn't be a walk in the park for Gibson since the Kings have 53 points in the standings to complement a robust plus-27 goal differential. You'll want to keep him locked in for season-long leagues, but daily players are likely to find better matchups to exploit between the seven games remaining on Saturday's slate.

Gibson allowed three goals on 31 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Flames on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Flames overwhelmed the Ducks early, posting 17 shots on goal and scoring twice in the first period. Gibson gathered himself after that, which allowed the Ducks to tie the game, but he yielded the game-winning goal in the final minute of the third period. This performance ends a streak of three games where Gibson posted a .951 save percentage. At 2.65, his GAA is a career high, and he is only 13-13-5, but Gibson is more than holding his own in the save percentage category at .923.

Gibson will guard the cage in Saturday's road game against the Flames, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has been red hot recently, posting a 3-1-1 record while maintaining a fantastic 1.39 GAA and .949 save percentage through his last five appearances. The American netminder will look to keep rolling and secure his 14th victory of the campaign in a road matchup with a Flames squad that's 11-11-0 at home this season.

Gibson allowed one goal on 34 shots but came away with the 2-1 shootout loss Thursday in Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson kept Edmonton's power play without a goal in five tries, including two separate attempts in overtime. That effort still wasn't enough to earn a victory, as counterpart Cam Talbot bounced back from a rough stretch and shut down Anaheim's offense. Gibson's 33 saves were his most in a game since Dec. 5, meaning the team in front of him usually does a great job of limiting opportunities.

Gibson will rough up the away crease Thursday against the Oilers, John Gibson of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson's road results haven't proven favorable thus far this season, owning a 5-4-2 mark with a 2.85 GAA and a .915 save percentage over 12 appearances. He may have an opportunity to improve on those numbers Thursday, however, facing an Oilers club that has lost four straight and has been blanked at home in both of their last two contests.

Gibson won his 13th game of the season Sunday against Arizona and is now one game above .500 with a 13-12-4 record.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has been pretty good this season, actually, with a .922 save percentage despite a mediocre record. His GAA ballooned to 2.72 this season, but with the Ducks getting healthy that number will most likely continue to drop. He stopped all 20 shots at even strength, allowing both of his goals against on the power-play, which is a good sign because Gibson ranks just 22nd in even-strength save percentage. Gibson has a chance to extend his winning streak next week with a road trip through Western Canada.

Gibson will guard the goal in Sunday's home game against the Coyotes, Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was great in his last start Friday against the Flames, turning aside 22 of the 23 shots he faced en route to a 2-1 victory. The American netminder will look to stay sharp and secure his 13th win of the campaign in a favorable home matchup with a struggling Coyotes club that's 5-13-4 on the road this season.

Gibson allowed one goal on 23 shots in a 2-1 victory against the Flames on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
It was certainly a great night for the 24-year-old, but he continues to frustrate owners with his inconsistency. Gibson shutout the Penguins before the Christmas break and then yielded three goals to the Golden Knights on Wednesday. Friday was the third time since Dec. 14 that Gibson posted a save percentage above .950 in a game. In his other three games since that date, he recorded a save percentage below .890. Gibson will look to build upon his Friday performance on New Year's Eve against the Coyotes.
