Gibson will patrol the crease against the Jets on Sunday, Elliott Teaford of The Orange County Register reports.

The Ducks are looking to break a 10-game losing streak and Gibson's stats have suffered during the skid. He's 0-5-3 over his last nine appearances with a .898 save percentage and 3.37 GAA in the process. However, he's received just 15 goals of offensive support in those nine games. Once he snaps out of the slump, Gibson should get back to being a reliable fantasy option.

Gibson will get the starting nod versus Pittsburgh on Friday, Dejan Kovacevic of DK on Pittsburgh Sports reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gibson is bogged down in an eight-game losing streak, during which he posted a 0-4-3 record and 3.00 GAA. In seven previous matchups with his hometown club, the Pittsburgh native is 4-3-0 with a .895 save percentage, but could struggle to get past the streaking Penguins who have won nine of their last 10 outings.

Gibson will defend the home net Wednesday against the Senators, Elliott Teaford of The Orange County Register reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gibson will continue his stretch of home starts Thursday, receiving all four so far in the homestand. He hasn't experienced a victory in a while, losing six straight decisions, but he could have an opportunity to get back in the column Wednesday versus a Senators team with a minus-38 goal differential over 19 road games this season.

Gibson is looking to break out of a slump, going 0-3-2 in his last six appearances. His last win came on Dec. 17, the last of a four-game winning streak. During that span he was lights-out, allowing just seven goals. He'e been fairly inconsistent, but Gibson is still a reliable fantasy option.

Gibson allowed three goals on 42 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Similar to the way this season has gone, Gibson played well while facing a ton of shots but took the loss. Gibson leads the league in shots against and saves -- plus, he owns a very nice .925 save percentage. That's no different than the save percentage he posted the last two seasons, but since 2016-17, Gibson's GAA has increased nearly 0.40. Obviously, that's hurt his record as well. To go with the .925 save percentage percentage, he is 15-12-6 with a 2.60 GAA this season.

Gibson will tend the twine in Friday's home game versus the Golden Knights, Anaheim's announcer Phil Hulett reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gibson has dropped four straight starts while recording a .906 save percentage in the process. Granted, it was tough to win during that stretch since the Ducks were held to one or less goals in three of those outings, but that doesn't provide much solace for fantasy owners. The Golden Knights have won four straight and allowed just three goals in that span, so even if Gibson can turn his individual play around, he could still be left on the hook for a loss.

Gibson permitted two goals on 35 shots in Monday's 2-1 overtime home loss to the Lightning.

EDGE Analysis

Gibson was terrific in this battle against the league's top team, but Brayden Point performed a terrific shake-and-bake maneuver during 3-on-3 play to stun Anaheim's top netminder. Gibson lost four straight decisions to close out the calendar year, but he's still the top dog. In fact, primary backup Ryan Miller has only drawn into 10 of a possible 40 games.

Gibson will face the Lightning at home Monday.

EDGE Analysis

Gibson is looking for his first win since Dec. 17, but his chances don't look too bright in a matchup against the most lethal offense in hockey. In his last start, he was rocked for five goals on 30 shots against Arizona on Saturday, dropping his save percentage to a season-low .924. Gibson should continue posting solid numbers throughout the year, but Monday is certainly a tough matchup to trust him in.

EDGE Analysis

This was a rare instance this season where the Ducks scored enough to win but didn't get enough goaltending to do so. Usually, it's been the other way around in 2018-19. Gibson owns a .924 save percentage and a 2.61 GAA and yet is only 15-11-5 this season. The good news, though, is wins have come a little easier this month. Gibdon is 5-3-1 with a .916 save percentage since Dec. 5.

Gibson (upper body) led the Ducks out to the ice for pregame warmups, Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times reports. This means he'll be the home starter against the visiting Coyotes.

EDGE Analysis

Gibson suffered a minor injury in Thursday's game against the Sharks, and he was excused from practice Friday in order to tend to the issue. Nonetheless, all signs point to Anaheim's traditional starter punching in for work against a Coyotes club that ranks 29th in the league offensively by means of averaging just 2.49 goals per game.
