Still, it's difficult to look at the offensive production and not get excited about Robertson's abilities. His transition to professional hockey this coming fall will be fascinating to watch.

In addition to his brilliant OHL showing, the talented prospect also played well for Team USA at the World Junior Championship in helping the club take home the silver medal. Robertson's lack of foot speed is a legitimate concern moving forward, but he's an extremely gifted offensive player. Look for him to begin the 2019-20 season in the AHL.

Robertson has now posted a ridiculous 28 points in 12 games since being traded to the IceDogs from Kingston. In addition to his production at the junior level, Robertson had a strong showing in helping the United States take home the silver medal at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship over the holiday season. Robertson is a poor skater and really labors getting around the ice at times, but there is no doubt he is an elite offensive player with the puck on his stick. Dynasty league owners should roll the dice on Dallas's 2017 second-round selection.

Nabbed by the Stars in the second round (39th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Robertson looks to be taking the next step in his career after notching 200 regular-season points (101 goals, 99 assists) over 190 games with OHL Kingston between 2015-18, not including postseason play in which he added 38 points in 31 contests. A lack of game-to-game consistency has been a problem for Robertson early in his career and it remains to be seen how he'll adjust to stiffer competition, but fantasy owners in dynasty/keeper leagues should still consider keeping tabs on him in case he is the real deal.

The offensive outburst gives Robertson 11 goals and 17 points in 16 games on the season, and he has also racked up 78 shots. No one has ever doubted Robertson's ability to put the puck in the net (he scored 42 times for Kingston in 2016-17), but he disappears for long stretches of time, and he is a below-average skater. He is going to put up big numbers as long as he remains healthy, but there are definitely aspects of the game he needs to work on throughout the course of the season.
