He has a fairly tough matchup vs. the Red Wings tonight. They scored three times on 35 shots in 3-2 win vs. LaBarbera on March 25th.

LaBarbera has won just once since Smith was hurt with a 3.03 GAA and .916 SV%. He has a tough matchup vs. the Kings.

LaBarbera allowed four goals on 38 shots in a wild 7-4 win over Nashville on Thursday. With Smith still hurt he will start tonight. He has a tough matchup vs. a Sharks team who have won three straight and have posted shutouts in their last two.

Smith is out until at least this weekend.

Phoenix is 0-5-1 in its past six and is 12th in the West. The is a terrible matchup for LaBarbera, look elsewhere.
