Jason Arnott didn't skate on Wednesday and is apparently dealing with a lower-body injury. Coach Ken Hitchcock classified the veteran forward as day-to-day, so we'll consider him questionable to play on Thursday in Game 3 at Los Angeles. Arnott has one goal and 11 shots in seven postseason contests.

Jason Arnott is healthy, but he will not participate in Saturday's game. Arnott will get a breather before the playoffs start. He had 34 points and a plus-13 rating in 72 games in 2011-12.

Jason Arnott is expected to dress on Wednesday after missing the past two games to rest some bumps and bruises he has been suffering from. "I feel way better," Arnott said. "It's just nagging injuries. You want to rest and get healed. You don't heal as quick as you do when you're 20 years old. It was nice to get a break, but it will be nice to get back in the mix." He has notched 16 goals and 16 assists in 64 games this year.

Jason Arnott is expected to spend Saturday's game in the press box. The Blues are poised to not only make the playoffs, but finish with the first seed in the Western Conference. With that in mind, Arnott will get the occasional game off to keep him rested and healed for the start of the postseason. Arnott will turn 38 in October.

Jason Arnott has missed only two games this season but ironically they have both been when the Blues visited his former team in Nashville. That's pretty rotten luck. We're not sure how the Preds' fans view Arnott and what kind of reception he may have received. Guess we'll have to wait until February 23rd, the next time the Blues visit Nashville, to find out. That is, if Arnott is healthy enough to play.
