Trouba collected a pair of assists and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
He came in with just three points in 11 December games, so this was a sudden change of pace for Trouba. Once a rising two-way defenseman, Trouba has seen his offense evaporate in recent seasons, and it's not showing many signs of coming back this year -- he has just eight points in 22 games despite his typical healthy ice time.

Trouba had two assists in Sunday's win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
It was the first two assists of the season for Trouba, who logged 27:07 of ice time in the victory. The 22-year-old has now played in nine games this season and is fitting right back in on the second power-play unit. Now that the Jets have snapped a five-game losing streak, look for Trouba to build off this outing and contribute offense more consistently on Winnipeg's back-end.

Trouba made his highly anticipated debut Friday night, recording heavy minutes (23:14) in the 3-2 overtime loss to the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Trouba finally made his season debut after being the subject of a lengthy contract holdout. As noted by the Winnipeg Sun, the 22-year-old was unleashed on the power play (2:30) and penalty kill (3:27), trailing only Dustin Byfuglien for total ice time on the Jets. Trouba didn't have any points in this one and he skated to a minus-1 rating, but his owners will certainly welcome big minutes, even though it was partially inflated by the extra frame.

Trouba will play in Friday's matchup against the Avalanche, Shane Hnidy of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The news comes from Jets' head coach Paul Maurice who indicates that the 22-year-old blueliner will make his season debut during the road contest. Trouba has been a consistent contributor -- producing 20-plus points in each of his last three seasons -- but his upside is limited due to a sub-par shot percentage.

Trouba, who ended his lengthy contract holdout Monday, could make his season debut Thursday against the Coyotes in Arizona, Sara Orlesky of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trouba was the last notable restricted free agent to agree to a new deal. The talented defender, who notched 21 points with a plus-10 rating for the Jets last season, would have been ineligible to play for the rest of the season if he hadn't signed a new contract by Dec. 1. Winnipeg gets a major boost on the blue line with Trouba's return imminent and Tyler Myers (lower body) having been removed from IR on Tuesday.

Trouba agreed to terms on a two-year, $6 million deal with the Jets on Monday, ending his holdout, Craig Custance of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
This deal could not have come at a better time for the Jets with Mark Stuart (upper body) and Tyler Myers (lower body) both sidelined. Trouba will likely need some time to get back to game speed, and a future trade is certainly not out of the question, but in the short term, he will add some much needed depth to a banged up blue line.

Trouba remains unsigned ahead of Thursday's season opener against the visiting Hurricanes, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trouba, a restricted free agent, is seeking a larger role with the Jets than he had last season, when he averaged just over 22 minutes of ice time over 81 games. With the new NHL season looming, other notable restricted free agents like Calgary's Johnny Gaudreau and Nikita Kucherov's of the Bolts are letting the ink dry on newly signed contracts, which has many a hockey fan turning their attention to unsigned defenders like Trouba and Rasmus Ristolainen, to name a few. Be prepared to sit Trouba in fantasy land in case he doesn't reach a new deal quickly.

Trouba doesn't intend to join training camp until he's guaranteed a larger role on the team, and if that's not awarded, he's requested a trade away from Winnipeg, Frank Seravalli of TSN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trouba's agent, Kurt Overhardt, has made it publicly known that this holdout isn't because Trouba desires more money. Rather, he's hoping for more playing time on the right side of the ice but admits that Winnipeg is already set at that position. Negotiations have stalled between the two parties, but obviously Trouba's decision to hold out should garner Winnipeg's attention to make a move.

Trouba may be switching to the left side of the ice according to coach Paul Maurice in an effort to increase his ice time, Gary Lawless of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trouba could be inline to pair up with Dustin Byfuglien if he can successfully transition to the other side of the ice. While this might seem like an easy move, it will be a significant challenge for the 22-year-old as he will need to learn to view the game from a completely different angle. Trouba averaged 22:04 in ice time per night last season and would likely see an increase of a minute or two on the top pairing.

Trouba was extended a qualifying offer by the Jets on Monday, Gary Lawless of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Being given a qualifying offer makes Trouba a restricted free agent, giving the Jets the opportunity to match any offer he receives during free agency. Trouba has spent his entire three-year career with the Jets and played in a career-high 81 games last season, finishing the year with six goals and 15 assists. If the Jets bring him back, he'd likely play a similar role for the team as a bruiser on defense after notching 140 hits during the 2015-16 campaign.
